It's been brought up a number of times in other topics, so let's just give it it's own.
So here's the deal, some 'pians seem to randomly leave a trail of sparkles as they move. There are a few theories as to what causes this.
1. Goodle.
Mepians born from getting hit by a Goodle have a tendancy to have this sparkle trail. However, so do mepians from completely different sources. Making this one unlikely.
2. Affection.
Perhaps 'pians who like the player will have this sparkle trail?
3. Flight.
The manual makes mention of a "flight" stat 'pians have, influencing the lifespan of the random junk throughout My Dream. Perhaps 'pians with a high flight stat leave the trail?
So yeah, all I know of. Discussion tiem.

Well in what I have seen it can't be a goodle in my mind. The trait has come and gone in specific Meeps and Pians I have. I have checked the names to make sure. But is seems to come and go.

They sure do leave the game incredibly open-ended. Even the stuff with the Pian critters is strange from what I'm reading.

One day there will be a SUPER strategy guide with everything we need to know in it....I hope.
As for me, ALL of my Pians that are full-breeds of something (even if they're completely Nightopian) leave a trail. I guess I'm just likable.

Well so far I tried breeding a Goodle with a Pian. No such luck witha sparkle trail, though!

It might have to do with how long the Meep or Pian has been in My Dream. The sparkle didn't start for me for a good while.

*finally has a Wii due to super awesome friends* Funny my Pains had a trail only after the second visit, and they were terrified of me. And my Shleep headed one randomly had it for only one visit.

I got the sparkly trailed one by through the 2nd goodle at a pian in Delight City in the orange neon area before the slot machines. A pian popped out and i was like o_O but it had a sparkle trail so i looped only that piano. My dream was pure meeps so i looked for the only non meep and found the bugger with the sparkles. He does run away a bit more i find.

I think some mepians with sparkle trails develop from being a goodle, but other times I think it is just there for a short time on some pians. I once had a pian that had the sparkle trail so I put it in the safe circle. I came back later and let it run around, but its trail was gone. I have also had some with the star trail run away from me crying and others do not. So I don't think it has to do with their happiness. I really have no idea what determines it.

It's just random. All of my Pians hate me (because I keep letting people in who like to throw them around....) and yet they all (or at least some) have sparkly trails.
