Well, I seem to be having a bit of a problem with "My Dream" (not my real dreams, but the A-Life thing), I just can't invite nor visit anyone! Every single time I try to, the game attempts to find someone, then I get the message "Your oponnent has awakened from it's dream" (or something like that). I can play battle mode, though, and I don't have problems with any other game.
I haven't tried with Friends, only strangers, but I don't have anyone in my friend list yet, so it's been pretty much impossible... yeah.
Anyone know anything about this problem?

No idea.. hm.. maybe that just means they quit playing, meaning that you're just having a tough time finding someone

Most likely no one is inviting guests into their My Dream. When you do the battle mode, are you battling random people, friends, or both? It may just be that you happen to be playing with My Dream when no one is interested.

I battle random, and I did consider that possibility, but it seems a little... farfetched, I mean, absolutely nobody in the world trying to play "My Dream" right when I try to play? ... I don't know... I've been trying for over a month and still nothing. I just contacted Sega via their website, let's see if they have an answer (don't think so, but it's worth the try).

I think this happens because you may be requesting someone who is always set to online when he or she starts up NiGHTS, and they may just have cancelled your request to enter.

Hey Fox, we tried to connect in My Dream last night and I got the same message, "Your friend has awakened from their dream". I got this message both times I tried to enter your dream and also the one time you tried to enter my dream. I also tried setting up a race with you but someone else joined my race right before you got there (I wish there was a way to send a chime to just one friend and not all your friends).
I haven't had any issues connecting with other people so my guess is it has something to do with your connection?? Do you use WiFi, the usb dongle, or a wired connection? If you use WiFi you might want to try some different settings.

I know it happens to me when my wireless broadband drops back to dialup speed... that is, when one of my housemates has been making too many downloads. Of what, I won't mention.

It happens to me when my dad is on the internet on his laptop because he and I use the same network. So when he's on, it boots me off.

Usually these errors are port forwarding. I have a linksys and i can show u guides. I have trouble with mine at times cause i suck at port forwarding. But if you have a linksys hit me up and i'll send over some tips.

I think I have a linksys as well. That's what it says in my little box that tells me my networks.
