Welcome to the art gallery of a crazy lady! :D

I do pretty much every form of art I can get my hands on, which includes traditional, digital, 3D, costumes, and plushies. Here's a link to my Deviant Art, if it interests you...
-------------------
Regular Artwork
-------------------

Jackle Redesign: The Jack of Spades
UV NiGHTS - Sanity
Welcome Back, TRiPPY!
'Halo' Method - Traditional Watercolor Pencils:
The Maren Prince
Astrima - iNFRA-RED

---------------
Plushies:
--------------

Most of my dolls are works in progress -- Current listing is:

7-8 Inches tall:
------------------------
Spectre: 100% Completed
U.V. NiGHTS: 70% In-Progress (ON HOLD)

Secret Projects:
-------------------------

Mystery Project #1: 50%-ish, not quite coming out right...

Images
Spectre Concept Picture
Spectre - General Design
Spectre 01
Spectre 02

I'm willing to answer any questions about my dolls, and any suggestions and advice for methods on making them are appreciated.

-----------------------
UPDATE - 05-06-2009
-----------------------

Sheesh. I haven't updated this in forever...

Within my absence, I've acquired a graphics tablet, and have been teaching myself how to make Flash animations. With any luck my secret project might actually see the light of day.

Oi.

I love your pictures and your colouring is amazing! Especially on Sanity.
Maybe you should do a tutorial on colouring hair for the less able *cough*people like me*cough*

Aw, thank you! :D

I use Adobe Photoshop to color my art -- and the way I went about doing the hair on Sanity wasn't something I was originally aiming to try. Most of the time on the picture was spent on the hair -- unusual for my art style. In fact, 'Jack of Spades' is closer to my usual method.

But for Sanity, I was trying to go for a semi-realistic piece, and started on a whim, originally wanting to play around with ideas for eyes and hair. What I ended up with wasn't exactly what I had in mind, but...

Unfortunately, there is no real process, because I did it randomly. I can try to put together an image tutorial, though -- but I've never done that before, so it might be vague. :D

They're both very wonderfully done! I love drawing hair! It gives you a sense of flow and beauty :D

I use Photoshop to colour too, I'm definitely still a rookie with it though. Though I'm definitely better with that than with pencils and pens.

Even if it wasn't what you had in mind for the hair originally, I still think it looks gorgeous!
Oh, and your new pic is wonderful too :P

I was a wee one when NID came out...So yeah....I be a pathetic mess when it comes to knowing what the characters are in NID! :D
I really do wish i could hunt the first game down with the Sega Saturn and 'ave a chance to play it, if I do ever find it, I'm never givin' it up. ;P :D

Have a good one my friend!

Aw, thank you! Photoshop takes forever to learn, but it's well worth it!
It was the same for me -- I had known about NiGHTS into Dreams, but it was Journey of Dreams that really got me started. I was in a really bad artists block when I randomly ran into NiGHTS, and no sooner than I had, all of my inspiration came back.

I'm also one of those obsessive people who have to know everything about their interests, so I researched both games so that I would be familiar with everyone.

Have a good one my friend!

You too! Thanks!

Update for 3-7-08 -- I'm making a plush Maren!

Edited the top post -- let me know what you all think! :D

----------------------------

Update for 3-13-08 -- Didn't want to double post, so I edited this one... :D

-Head now attached,
-Dress Part 1 completed,
-Sleeves completed,
-Collar completed.

-- Still need suggestions and help with the pattern on the back of the cloak, though... I would like it to be a 'dreamcatcher' style, any comments or suggestions would be extremely helpful... Don't be afraid to post people, I don't bite! :(

Thanks for the bump!

Squish away! She's almost finished now -- but I still need some ideas for the Dreamcatcher design on the back... More art is scanned and on the way -- I just want to get the plush done first!

----------------------
EDIT - 03-29-08
----------------------

Updated with a picture -- and I'm still taking suggestions for the back of Spectre's cape!

Against my better judgment, I think this is enough of an update to warrant a new post.

My plushie of my fanmaren, Spectre, is now completed -- sans her cape, which I am still requiring assistance with. If anybody has any ideas for the dreamcatcher pattern for the back of her cape, it would really help me out!

Comments, critique, advice -- all welcomed by an artist attempting to improve!

- Looking into buying shiny strands to twist in with the threads when embroidering Spectre's cape -- shiny is good.
- Also found an old doll cloak that matches the exact measurements that I need, and the fabric is perfect for it... But just to prove that my luck sucks, it's maroon, not black, like I needed. Ah, well. I can always trace it for the sizing. Patterns, ahoy!
- Almost finished drafting a custom dreamcatcher pattern -- I decided to go with one I made myself. STILL trying to get the bloody thing out on paper -- but I found an old embroidery book in a closet that will help me figure out how to do the hard parts.

-- As the cloak is only a secondary thing, now -- and because I need to build up funds/go find the cloth I need for Spectre's cloak -- I have now started on yet ANOTHER plush doll.

Currently completed is his tail and PART of his head. I'm still trying to figure out how to get his blond bangs to hang out from under his hat without creating a bulge -- and what exactly to use for the bangs to begin with...
I also have to put the detailing on his hat, still -- the black edging that twists into the tip that would cover his 'nose' still needs to be done, but that waits until his hair is done.

Body is now underway. I'm slightly irritated at the fact that I can't find a suitable chest gem to use for it -- I would have liked it to be a stone/bead, but I can't find one anywhere, so it'll have to be made of fabric unless I can find something else.

In other news -- more art is on the way -- next up: my version of a Gijinka Reala. Beware.

New post at the top. Work is eating me alive. Money is good -- but my art and dream life is suffering for it, and that I won't have. :D

UV plushie is still under construction, some parts of the design have been reworked and fixed. Now that TRiPPY's posted the character iMAGNi, though, I now want to make the iMAGNi cast into plushies. GAH, distractions!

That, plus a weird encounter at work gave me a fluffy tail to put onto a new plush Maren doll, but I'm now having trouble figuring out what to do with the bloody thing.

Whoah. Time management is hard work!
