In a crystal castle stage, there is a little ball with a "20" inside it that follows you... What does it do? (I checked the manual.)

What stage are Crewle and Pole in (I forgot the first one's name)? Or maybe it's in NiD. I'm curious. If anyone has a picture, I'd love to seeeee.

Those? Those are what I call "Link Attack" spheres.
If you manage to get the number of links required, then you get a point bonus.

As for the minion you mentioned, I think it's only in NiD.

Aroxys is correct about the sphere. There was one just like it in NiD called a 'link ball' or something.
Crewle and pole were only in NiD if I'm not mistaken, the offical art section on the site has a pic- I'll go get it:
