  • Interests:I like drawing and cosplaying characters from the NiD universe. Sometimes I like to make plushies (i'm not too good at large plushies).
My younger brother has been a Kirby fan and I have been a Nights fan for a while now. Just recently, we realized how similar these two franchises are:

-Both main protagonists fight bad dreams to bring good dreams back

-In both franchises, there is an "ultimate ruler of nightmares" sort of person

-Most of the Kirby games and all three Nights games take place in a "dream world" - For Kirby, Dreamland, for Nights, Nightopia

-Both Nights and Kirby have rivals - Kirby's is Metaknight (who is speculated to be Kirby's twin), and Nights' is Reala (who is also speculated to be a twin)

-Also, Kirby and Nights (when based on Kirby's anime and collected Nights into dreams info) are both creatures created by the "nightmare ruler" of their respective world that rebelled against their empire

I've also had a dream where Nights was talking to Kirby in the middle of Splash Garden, but Kirby was speaking gibberish so I couldn't understand and Nights looked very confused.

My brother (who is standing here as I type this) insists that I post this, but if it is in the wrong place, feel free to move it, and I'm sorry for any accidental spoilers...

And i'been thinking of those similarities for a long time XD there're a lot of kirby-NiGHTS crossovers there and here.

Did you notice how much kirby's nightmare ruler looks like Wizeman?

I had never noticed Kirby and Nights being similar, but I always thought Klonoa and Nights were similar. [ Mostly the first Klonoa game, anyway.]

Nightmare does eerily look like Wizeman. Even though he is a nightmare ruler he was only in one of the kirby games and its remake. Bah, For some reason I can't post images.

  • Interests:I love anime and games! I collect manga more than I do anime 'cause it's cheaper, though, and cosplay from time to time. Hopefully I'll have a decent Jackle costume done in time for Nan Desu Kan this year XD. I also like yaoi, DDR, um...pandas...and yaoi. I don't like mainstream anime much though; most of it isn't very good anyway....

Hahaha. Kirby and NiGHTS should have a game together.

I've played every Kirby game and every NiGHTS game, so I must admit... the similarities are very interesting.

Now, what if NiGHTS were in Brawl as one of the hidden characters? O.o What an interesting combination that would be as a team.

Both NiGHTS and Kirby are stretchy, both fly, their eyes are the same color, and both are fighting to restore people's dreams. Both are enthusiastic characters. I think kirby is also genderless, but I'm not sure about that.

What's funny is that Masahiro Sakurai has (I think) stated that he thinks NiGHTS is a great game.

  • Interests:My interests are drawing, watching animes and tv shows, cosplaying (if u want to c my cosplaying got to DA, cosplay.com, or myspace.com/ViewtifulChronos.), play video games, play tennis, spend some time playing my ocarina, creating stories or mostly make comics and spend time with friends and family. i m not putting much but thats mostly what i m interested in and also a NiGHTSFan and a Sonicfan. There is more to say but i end it like this for now.
you know after what u just posted and all it does prove a point where kirby and NiGHTS do stand in the same situation where both of them do the same thing. They should be in a game together i would love to see that NiGHTS and kirby hmmm ;)

If Kirby and nights had a game together, Kirby would swallow nights and he would look like the avatar of that person on this forum. And his powers would be kind of like the bird power from Dynablade on the Kirby game for Snes. He could do a special move that shoots him flying foward and he goes around in a circle to paraloop stuff. All the bosses would be made very easy using that. Unless there bosses from nights games too.
