I'm interested in seeing any custom content anyone here has made for SiMS 2. I'm working on some myself since i slowly realised that its almost identicle to IMVU's reskinning process except theres a texture map too. I'm going to make each of the new iMAGNi dreamers as close as i can get them and lots of other ideas in my head. I will put things i create up here for download.

Anyone else done anything? I've had the game for a few days now and still not actually played it yet XD Just tinkering in Bodyshop.

Just wondering if anybody has ever made a NiGHTS model for Sims 2. I've seen Kichi's awesome Transformers that she made and it got me thinking if anyone has ever made a NiGHTS one, perhaps. I've looked but i've not found any.

One thing i've noticed about Sims websites is that there are bloody loads of them, all containing different things so it's kinda hard trying to find something specific sometimes.

I made a NIGHTS Sim recently. All I did was transfer my low poly Nights into the game. He's friggin' huge compare to a normal human. *l* I didn't like the bobble mascot costume head look so I'm still working on it.

I would love to show you guys the screwy NiGHTS sim but I don't have the files... In fact, I don't have Sims installed anymore. ): My computer cannot handle the lagging with all the recent installments of other programs. (which I need) Someday I will get a better computer and continue my Simming.

On the subject of Sims, you wouldn't happen to know of any decent websites where me and the-TRiP could download stuff for Sims 2, do you? Or any sites that have hax and patches for the game?

Modthesims2.com They have a strict uploading policy so it filters out a lot of simple run of the mill looking sims and objects. TONS of hacks and patches. I love the camera patch... Allows you to zoom in really close or take pictures in better angles.

Ok, now I wanna play the Sims, if only for using those Transformers skins.

I'm not too into the game myself, but my sister loves it. I'll see if she made anything interesting lately.

I'm going to re-install it when I'm 100% sure my computer's working again. And yes, Modthesims2 is awesome - aside from what Kichigai mentioned, they also have a policy about including pay-stuff. No risk of finding an awesome hair-do only to find out you have to pay to get the mesh

I've got a completely vanilla install of Sims 2 + a few expansions lying around on the compy. I tried making meshes and such for sims 2 ages ago but 1) I was a modelling newb and 2) There wasn't all that much support for 3DSmax, more Maya. I might have a play around sometime...

Also TRiP, the extra map is a bump map, which is useful for adding faux depth to things to make them look more realistic..

[EDIT] Ooh! I've found a tut that shows how to go about meshing for Sims2 with Max - Excellent! I might try something over the next few days when I get the time..
