• Interests:Well, Gaming is my top interest! I've been gaming since i was 3. If you want a match in MKDS, Pokemon, Metroid, Wii, NDS, X360 or want to challenge me to do something in a non Wifi game (NiGHTS Score challenge, Mario Speedrun, etc.)... Go fo it! I'm always up for a game! :D

Next is Photoshop, I've been messing with Photoshop for almost a year and a half already. I like to make stuff out of renders, pictures, videos. A challenge peaks my interest! :)
Yo, hey all. I haven't seen many 3D Nightmarens on the board here, but i haveta ask the question. What programs, tools, things like that do i need to getin order to create a wireframe or even the full 3D render of a fan Nightmaren? I have on my laptop DAZ 3D, freshly installed... but nothing else added to it. Any advice on starting, should i get rid of DAZ and get another program? Any little thing will help!

I've heard of DAZ but I never used it before. It kinda looks like Poser.

I suggest getting a simple 3D modling program such as Milkshape 3D. It's a good way to start learning the basics of manipulating/editng shapes and polygons.

Or you could skip right to either 3Dmax, Maya, or Lightwave and learn from there. The interface can be scary at first but once you get the hang of it, anything is possible.

ZBrush is good but that's more of an artistic 3D modling program. It's very easy to model objects with a tool call "Zspheres" and turn them into polygons. Rendering with it though... is tricky. You can use a tablet to sculpt meshes. Models exportable to an OBJ format for any of the programs I mention above for better rendering.

Also having a killer processer with a good graphics card wouldn't hurt. I have a lame company hand-me-down computer and I'm struggling. :|
