It really sucked. Either they had bad lag and it was effecting me, or they hacked. Has this happened to any one else?

Hmmm, the only thing i would say is to have your friend invite you to a game they made, making you the 2nd player. IDK about quick random online matches, i've played as NiGHTS straight through my games.
Is there any way for YOU to be 2nd player when YOU send out the call for a friend to play? I seriously want to play as Reala but it always places me as 1st player.

As far as being second player, I'm not sure if it's possible. I think you're forced to be NiGHTS on your screen no matter what.

I was thinking that but Reala always starts on the bottom, and NiGHTS starts on the top. So if you were really Reala you would be on bottom.... which I'm always on top.
Nah, Reala plays just the same as NiGHTS. And as for playing as him online, I wouldn't know because I don't have internet on my Wii, but I'd say probably that no matter what, on your screen you're NiGHTS. The other person probably sees you as Reala.

I just noticed something. It's kind of hard to scream NiGHTS in type if the "i" always has to be lowercased.... It just... doesn't have the same effect.
