Ideya is an NiGHTS term used for those colored orbs the children have. They are the dream energies that each dreamer has. Each one represents something different. White is purity, yellow is hope, Blue is intelligence, green is growth/wisdom, and red is courage. The ideya make up the dreaming world the dreamers are in. The Nightmarens try to steal the dream energies though in order to harm the dreams and dreamers. However, in both games, they cannot steal courage. So long as they have it, they can have the help of NiGHTS and get their ideya back.

I think I said that all right...

  • Interests:I love anime and games! I collect manga more than I do anime 'cause it's cheaper, though, and cosplay from time to time. Hopefully I'll have a decent Jackle costume done in time for Nan Desu Kan this year XD. I also like yaoi, DDR, um...pandas...and yaoi. I don't like mainstream anime much though; most of it isn't very good anyway....
o.o I thought marens could steal courage...the fanfiction sure makes it seem like they can. And if I recall, Helen almost got hers taken during Bellbridge, didn't she...?

If they can't steal it, then did Helen almost lose it herself, like stagefright? Dreamers can lose their ideya by their own causes/inner demons at work, right? ...then again, aren't maren like inner demons anyway lol XD

I dunno, I think NiGHTS is the only maren that can take courage ideya. And I don't read fanfics so I dunno what you're talking about lol.

I write poetry and lyrics (although they're not very good T__T) and comedy movies. I love the Dreamcast podcast that DiGi and TRiPPY put on. I also enjoy thinking outside the box. I think that the whole concept of Ideya is, like the rest of the NiD information, terribly and painful subject to personal interpretation. There's not really a solid definition of what they are that EVERYONE can agree with. The only thing we know is that Wizeman wants them, and the Nightmaren can get them.
