Anyone else seen this sucker? I just did, and I have to say that, as a fan of Tim Burton and the musical, I was very impressed.
And that 'By the Sea' sequence was priceless. XD
Anyone else? EH?

I saw an early screening. I must say I agree about the sea side shot with stripy suit. I was very disappointed with how many people "walked out" at a pre-screening.
I was like, DUDE!!!! you just waited on line in the cold for 2 hours for a good seat.
and these goth emo teens heckling the whole time behind us. (grrr)
I enjoyed it immensely, and I cackled like a mad person at the end.
two thumbs WAY up!

To me, this was Burton's best film ever. Really. I am in fact a fan of Broadway, but I had never heard the music or seen the play til' I heard Burton was making this movie.
I probably might put a review up. But not now. I'm lazy XD
But my favorite scene was with Pirelli.

I was pleasantly surprised with how good this movie is. I am a fan of some of Tim Burton's films but I had never seen the musical or even heard about it until now. When my sister found out I was going to see it, she flipped. "You hate musicals and it's violent. Why would you go see it?" It was the only decent movie in the theater I wanted to see and my grandmother wanted to treat me to a movie for my birthday, so ...
I loved the music and the singing portions were quite entertaining. Another job well done for Tim Burton. I think I might actually buy this movie on DVD.

I really liked the film. :]
Then again, I'm just fond of musicals.

I need to watch it badly, but I was sent the soundtrack and got terribly hooked on 'A Little Priest'.

Just got back from seeing it and loved it. I'm a big fan of the macabre and this film had style in spades. I laughed out loud quite a few times. I have to say though, I don't think the movie would have been half as good if not for the fantastic performance by Helena Bonham Carter. She really stole the show in my mind.

Saw it twice. I went in December and I went for my birthday with Maresuke, B-Movie, Loren and my brother. Awesome musical and done splendidly by Tim Burton! By the Sea, Pirelli's Miracle Elixir, and A Little Priest were my favourites.

This movie rocked. Nothing like a musical horror. I especially liked the ending.
