Your really lucky to be playing it and the description sounds exactly like good old Nights! I also hope for a level like Soft Museum as it has my favorite music and level design too.

it seems a lot easier to get the high multiplier on the boss fights. i got 1.9 (which is highest i think) on the first one and for the second one i got a 1.6

perhaps i should try Helen's story... but i'm already this far on Will's... i'll let someone else spill the beans for Helen.... if they want..

Also, the closest you're likely to get to Soft Museum is that new Crystal Castle stage. Granted, it doesn't have the freaky ground, but it at least has the whole "mirror" thing going for it...

i have the game. i'm playing it right now. there's a nightopian garden called My Dream and it's just like the chao garden in the sonic adventure games. the nightopians you paraloop during gameplay get sent to My Dream and so do the nightmaren. my My Dream place is pretty bare right now... cuz i've only played a little today (about an hour and a half... need to go back!)

each dream level has many different missions like Mario, so one mission is get the key while another is get as many links as possible following this octopus thing and then others are like "save the nightopians," like one lever you're Will and NiGHTS is a boat/raft and you float down the river to rescue the nightopians. interesting.

my expectations for the game have been blown away and i regret being a nay-sayer.

i just hope there's a level like Soft Museum. l LOVED that level.

the story is alright, and NiGHTS voice is decent, but there's parts when i'm like "THIS IS SOOOOOO CHEEESY"

dangerously cheesy....

anyway. i'm on the second dreamscape and Reala refers to NiGHTS as a boy in one cutscene (spoilers?)
also, Wizeman has a coool voice

the game is darker than i expected, and it's very welcome.

hope this is new stuff or w/e

On the first page I complained how I couldn't get it today. Well, I still can't.

But when I got home from school today, my grandma called me and asked if there were any last-minute gift ideas for Christmas that I might want, since I hadn't told her much. XP So yeah, my grandparents are gonna get it for me for Christmas, along with Mario Galaxy. X333

I still have to wait, but at least I don't have to spend money on it. (:

The Gamestop in VA has it. We where looking for Wiis and some DS games.
Funny story: About seven women where hanging around, sitting on the floor, waiting for Wii shipments. One had McDonalds. XD Needless to say, we didn't get the Wii today.
I was looking around for the free JoD extras disk, and I thought I had found it, but it was THE REAL JoD. Didn't buy it. XD I have already pre-ordered the game from Amazon, so my copy should be in in a few days anyway.
I overheard something about a Wii waiting list starting on Friday, so if I don't get the Wii in this raffle thing I'm in, to the waiting list! (Pay it out in full, and they call you when they get some in. *Grin* I won't have to sit on the floor with a hamburger waiting for the UPS dude.)
It's not guranteed before Christmas, but you pay it out in full to begin with, so might as well pay for it while you got the cash.
But, my Mom comes to the rescue! SHE'S going to buy the Wii as a family gift, and not a cent out of anyone else's pockets. I was prepared to chip in what I could, ($70) but my Mom is cooler than I thought she was.

GameStop tells me it's tomorrow in my city. I can not wait I don't even care about getting a Wii anymore because of this which is funny because I need a Wii to play it lol

I won't be getting my copy until Christmas. In the meantime I am going to rent the game just I did with Super Mario Galaxy back in November, another game I am getting for Christmas. I probably won't be able to rent it until either late at night or tomorrow, hopefully at night.

I would not do that. I was just talking to the Gamestop near me and all they said was that it would be in tomarrow morning. They are not sure when, and they said there may come kinda late that day due Christmas delays. Get your Gamestop number and just keep calling them.

Checked on the FS website a few seconds ago and it seems to be the 20th as well. I guess it doesn't really matter anyways because I'm going to be unable to get it until Friday according to my parents.

also i just got back from work, but right before work i beat Wizeman... forgot i got the dragon persona just before him.

the persona are unlocked after each dreamscape you fully complete. first dolphin, then rocket, and finally the dragon.

i gotta get C or better on all the stages if i want to unlock the last dreamscape though... UGH!!!

just need to do Helen's side of the story now.

this might only be in the US, but Nintendo said that starting the 21st they're gonna work with gamestop to do a special reserve voucher system. the voucher ties directly to one systems serial key so they call you when YOUR console comes in (instead of telling you when a bunch have come in that the people waiting in line will get before you get there) and they can guarantee it will be there for you to pick up. It might take a month to get yours in, but at least you wouldn't have to go hunting all over town for one anymore.

also waiting in line can be a lot of fun I did it for the wii pre-order, met some cool guys and had some wonderful conversations... of course the holliday crowed is gonna be compleatly different from the pre-order crowed, but it would still be fun as long as you ignore the cold ;;
