Howdy folks. Right, here's the thing. I just got my hands on a Mega CD and megadrive, a gift to my girlfriend for Christmas. Only thing is.. it's just the Mega CD and Megadrive. No cables. No box. No controllers. Zilch.

So I'm kinda in a pickle. It's a Mega CD Mrk 1, with the CD Drive. I know that it uses the same power cable as the Megadrive (first model) which sits on top (which incidently, is the same cable for the Master System II, which is why I know). Another cable will be easy enough to find.

I need your help. What else do I need ? Theres a R-L Line out on the back, is that important ? How the bloody hell do you go about working a Mega CD ? Theres no eject button, how do I open the drive O_o ? Whats the "Lock" catch on the left side for ? I have noooo idea how the bloody thing works.

So to all of you who have a Mega CD I... help ?

I found the manual for the model 2 sega CD. go here, and the sega cd manual is under Hardware/Systems. It answers some off your questions.

I've never used a Sega CD personally, so I couldn't help you eject CD's
