I don't really know what in the heck took me so long to post this *try the still looming deadline of your assignments* but does anyone else play Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team or its sequel, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2: Diamond and Pearl? If so, then what did you think of it? What did you call your team? And what Pokemon are you and your partner?

As for me, I am the hardy Pikachu in the game and my partner is a Treeko *high fives partner* and we run the Rescue Team Pioneers. Probably because I'm interested in RPG games, I found myself completely absorbed in the game's story... and the ending was one of the most touching ones that I've seen. Even though having to chase my teammates around and having almost 100 level dungeons can be a little daunting, I found it rather enjoyable.

Okay, anyone else?

oh! me! me!
i absolutely loved that game! was one of the best games i've played :3 the history was pretty original too, especially because it came from pokemon XD
I was a pikachu too, ( i wanted to be one because my fanchar is one too XD) and my partner was a torchic named Haruka ( like my best friend, on purpose) and our team was called Kawaii Dan, just as a group of friends of mine :)
I remember playing that game hours and hours...it's a very relaxing game, for some reason, i awlays felt fresh after playing it. Even if the Rayquazza part was pure suspense haha
Anyways, i don't feel like playing the new one @_@ part because i don't want to be a pikachu again ( i really don't like the others) and part because i dislike the new generation of pokemon...a lot

Poly C: of Kawaii Dan, it's a pleasure to meet you.

I don't know whether or not I'd play the new one either... merely because of the fact that I don't think I'll have the game system for it. I haven't really seen too much of the new Pokemon to glare at it. I must admit that my favorite parts of the main story were when the other Pokemon drove the player out and the story line's ending. I rarely shed tears over video game endings, but that one was one of the most touching.

What made you pick a Torchic?

heh :D nice to meet you too. We're both pikachus XD

Well originally i don't like torchic very much but my best friend had Mystery Dungeon too. And she picked a pikachu named Poly as a partner, so i had to do the same with her XD. Her favourite starter was torchic so i picked a torchic, and named her as her nick, "Haruka".
And yeah, the story is ...wow. Especially the ending, it was really surprising. One of the best pokemon games ever :D the TV specials of the game aren't as good tough XD

and what made you pick a Treecko? :3 there is something you don't like from the game?

Treecko is the Pokemon that I have chosen as my starter in Pokemon Emerald (although I'm starting to notice that I have a habit of choosing Grass-type starters in each of the generations). I named him "Terry" after my late uncle.

The element of the game that I find most annoying would have to be the strangely timed appearances of the Monster Houses (for beginners, this is when a crowd of Pokemon appears out of thin air and attacks your team). They always seem to happen when I'm either escorting a client or trying to train up weaker team members. Then to make things worse, attempting to keep your weaker teammates in the hall away from the danger allows enemies to creep up on the weaker guys. So, in the end, I'm stuck trying to fight off everyone in the monster house while all of my reviver seeds are being spent up as my allies are being attacked from behind.

  • Interests:I love well-made fanart, drawings and well-written fanfics. I adore people who can be creative in a beautiful way (good artists, writers, singers etc). I like various anime shows, mostly shoujo and maho-shoujo. I also like reading books of fantasy-writers (Andre Norton, Phillip Pullman, Gart Nix etc). I like listening to rock or folk-rock music. I also love various pretty shiny things. I myself write and draw various fan things from time to time. And yes, I also love sleeping, dreaming and being lazy.
Yeah, I liked Mystery Dungeon too! I played Red Rescue Team, as the only thing I can allow myself now is the VisualBoyAdvance... that's probably why I can't enter any rescue codes at the Pelipper Post Office...
I have Pokeheroes rescue team. I play as Blaziken ('cause Torchik was me Emerald starter), and my partner is Meganium named Rita. The game is a very fun to play, although I suck in long dungeons

Welcome DARiA of Rescue Team Pokeheroes, what made you choose Meganium as your partner?
