Yeah! I've finally did it! Well, this is my fansite about NiGHTS - Nightopia.narod.ru! So, what do you think about it?

First obvious point is, you should use transparency on the navigation buttons so that the black doesn't obscure the background.

Second, the cursor image and star trail don't work on Firefox. Always test your websites in both IE and Firefox at the bare minimum.

Third, the layout isn't too great with it being spread around so much. Simple use of a table could nicely place everything centred with the navigation being placed around it.



Now, I don't speak Russian so I can't comment further, however, I now love you. I've been searching for the NiD GBA rom for bloody ages and not been able to find it till now, so massive thanks.
With the rom being a free download, via a last gen system I don't see too much problem with it (obviously copyright would still say otherwise), however, I'd be very wary about sharing the NiD and CNiD roms. It's all manner of wrong.

Well, site doesn't say anything that you fans don't know. But for those Russians who don't, that site can be pretty useful

Sorry about that, got called for dinner. Anyway, just spent 10mins fiddling with it and this is how I would choose to shape the site to make it generally more cohesive.

I kept the iframe within a table, so all you'd need to do would be swap the index file and the images I altered. If you want them sending just PM me.

I'm guessing you're running at the size you posted (1024x768)

My screen is 1680x1050. The version I've done will remain centred at any res though. I'm at work but i'll send you those files tonight when I get home.

Confused as to why you wanted the files posting above when you've just changed it all again.

The site took an absolute age to load for me. Other than that it looks fine.

It loaded very quickly for me. The site looks better now, and it's easy to navigate.
