December is here, the snow is falling gently, the tree is trimmed, and a fire crackles gently in the fireplace. A lovely start to the holidays! Carols are already running non-stop in the shops, and pretty soon, the most popular specials will be airing on TV.

Let's face it, Christmas specials have become a regular part of the holiday. Love em or hate em! So I wonder which ones are your favorites? There's hundreds to choose from! Maybe there are some you watched as a child that bring back fond memories, or others that remind you of a particularly special year. Heck, I'll bet there's some you can't stand!

I'll start with a few personal favorites. :3 Mickey's Christmas Carol, The Muppet Family Christmas, Muppet Christmas Carol, The Grinch, and The Snowman. ("Walking in the Air" makes me a complete sap to this day!)

I know there's always a 24-hour marathon of "A Christmas Story" every year on Christmas day. Don't know how many people watch it, but my family watches it together every year. ^.^

And "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" is my all-time FAVE holiday movie!!

I like to watch The Nightmare Before Christmas and A Christmas Carol starring Captain Jean Luc-Picard.

It's not really movie related, but December is also special to me because it's the only month I allow myself to play NiGHTS.

The Muppets Christmas Carol, The Nightmare Before Christmas and the obligatory "Donald Duck wishes a Happy Christmas"-show that airs in Sweden on Christmas Eve every single year. Oh! And "Karl-Bertil Jonssons Julafton", that's really the one to get me in the Holiday Spirit.
