Sorry to put a damper on your day. Don't lose too much hope though. The methods may have changed since then. I have never played another Japanese version of a game except Christmas NiGHTS, so I have no idea if they would be changing this approach. It does seem odd to have so much English but the general Japanese public do know a 'little' bit of English. But I too think making all the menus in English is a bit much even if they are only a few words. This is showing up on the Japanese site though so I would assume this is what the Japanese version of the game will look like. Or maybe they are making it look exactly the same for a world wide release. I have NO idea! Sega can be pretty strange sometimes.
