Thought I would finally pop in and say hi.
My name's DeZ or some people like to call me Brutus. I'm 57 and I live in Edinburgh. I'm a City of Edinburgh Council Environmental Engineer and enjoy my job greatly. Been doing this line of work for about 20 years now and still loving it
In my spare time I like to jam on the Harmonica and Kazoo. Love the sound they produce Also I like to play sports such as Shinty and Darts.
I've been a fan of NiGHTS for a while now. Since the pre-release in the game back in '96? The game I find rather refreshing and entertaining. A change of pace from the usual console variety. Been hearing things about the sequel on the Wii and it kinda renewed my interest. Only other games I had any real interest in were Blam Machinehead and Battle Arena Toshinden ("Diddly Ray!" ) so it's nice to rekindle my love for one of the true great games that has brought me joy in my later life
Stay safe kids

Actually I have played those games. I liked them a lot Still got my copies and wouldn't part with them for anything. I still sometimes boot up the old Dramcost? and have a whirl on G-Kaiser Timestalkers was also a great game. The main character, Sword I think, had a lot of class and the characters were well thought out. The story was highly entertaining.

Hehe! Some say I look like one but they are just teasing. Probably my big hairy face. Proud of my bushy facial hair Kinda a family tradition in this part of Scotland. So you're Scottish too? Nice to meet a fellow Scot!
Can we be Scottish Beard Brothers ?
I'll even make a platformer of it, where we battle the evil Barber King and save Princess Eyebrow from various different castles.

We don't really do the traditional dances. We have started learning some Freestyle dancing I think it's called. Some of the younger ones can do some amazing acrobatics! I'm a bit more reserved lol. not quite as fit as I used to be.

EDIT: *refreshed the page before she posted and saw that DiGi's gotten off at least this thread* ..... My advice still stands, so I won't change the post. ^^; *hopes to god she doesn't get on tomorrow to find herself banned or anything*
Anyway, in regards to the 'getting on' thing several posts up, I apologize if I make ya feel old; I just think you're old for a NiGHTS fan, and I appreciate that there're people like you out there. ^^; *bows again*

Thanks you for your insight and kind words He was being rather rude and I only came here to make new friends and share experiences with people that have something in common. Don't worry about the old comments. I'm young at heart hehe.God, and I thought I was being rude. Oo' Um... DiGi, I know you're probably not one to give respect to people just because they're over twenty years older than you, and I know you feel a little defensive, and I KNOW I have no real right to split this up since I don't know any of you and all, but please take a breather, calm down a little, and voice your concerns in a calmer manner. ^^; *gets ready to get her butt kicked*

You're welcome. I think (well, more hope; as I've said, I don't know any of these people well) he just feels a little defensive of TRiPPY after that entire 'I'm available *winkwink*' joke. I do hope he calms down and warms up to you, or at least doesn't hold it against you.
EDIT: Not that I'm saying it's your fault; you don't know how sensitive someone can be about that kind of comment until you make it.
ANOTHER EDIT: *makes this edit just in case she's misunderstood* I don't think this is DiGi's fault, either. It's like... you buy a shiny new car, you know it won't slip off a cliff if you drive it through the mountainsides, but you don't want to take that small chance because you care so much about that car. *smacks self before she goes off on a psychological tangent, which she's probably already needlessly done*

It's always good to meet you : )
I too like yourself and padawan Jof follow the ways of the Beardy side <g>
<----
All this talk of beards has got me with an image of NiGHTS and Reala with beards and claymores (the sword, not the mine...)
