Last night I found out that emulator technology has finally caught up with my idiotic decision to buy the Japanese version of NiGHTS when I wound up never getting around to learning how to region mod my Saturn. Last night I popped my copy of NiGHTS Into Dreams (I'ts a DREAM PARADOX.)(XD) and I must say, I will probably be asking for a game pad for my laptop for Christmas.
Very cool game. And now I know what to think about the JoD footage as well. So similar down to the strategy for the first boss.
Well, anyway, glad I did that before JoD was out. Now I can say I am a NiGHTS fan for reasons aside from some of the music and the art style. Yay.

Heh, it seems a lot of peoples' first NiGHTS gameplay experiences were based around emulators. Though, I don't know how many people bought a Japanese version of the game to paly it on said emulators. That's dedication, man. My first taste was from a .bin on SSF when it was running like 50% speed. Then I Ebay'd a Saturn about a day and a half later.
Either way, I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed your gameplay taste. Now all we can do is hope that JoD is going to be very true to its' roots.

Actually I bought the Japanese NiGHTS game over 4 years ago. I just never modded my Saturn. So its quite the opposite of dedication. Its laziness. XD
ADD: And now I have deaded Gillwing along with puffy. I now have a little free time so I will try to get father in tonight. I hope to beat the game by week's end. I have plenty of school work this week tho.
