Since I haven't been into NiGHTS for long, I don't have a lot to share right now. Hopefully that will change once I get more time. Here's what I've made so far--

NiGHTS
NiGHTS, in all his/her/its awesomeness!


A simple freehand sketch done in Photoshop. Don't ask about the legs, I couldn't get them to look good at all, so I just decided to leave them out. I considered coloring it, but I think it looks pretty good like this.


My cute little NiGHTS sculpture sitting atop my Wii remote. I actually have it fixed onto the top of my Wii console now. I'm sorry about the quality here, my camera is evil. The head is a little deformed, but you can still tell what it is (I hope).


I don't know if this should actually go here, but if anyone wants one of these, send me a message!

*Thinking* Eh, why not? *Pokes avatar* That's Frostbite. I can send you a (MUCH) bigger picture of him, if you want. (You'll probably need the big one anyway. XD) I actually have a reference for him that I drew almost a year ago that I can send you, for color and whatnot, if you'd like.

Little update for the two requestees.

I've got Mindoe done (two versions, both uncolored) and I've gotten one of Frostbite done. I'll try to finish the other of him tomorrow and post them all up at once.

For anyone else, feel free to request. Real characters, made up characters, whatever. Bring it on!

That was quick. XD Of course, normally, whenever I want some art done, I either have to wait in a HUMUNGUS line and the artist gets tired of that style before they get to me, OR I gotta be quick to post. (Which I am not.) XD So, seeing this done will be a first for me. XD

I have to be honest. My first reaction was HOLY SH--!! And not in a good way.
I realize that it's mostly my fault, though. XD I was about as confusing as a person could be. When I was sending those references, I was even confusing myself at some points. Also, you don't know Frosty's personality, so...
Don't get me wrong! The artwork itself is excellent! It's just that he looks a bit too... Human... For my tastes, is all. XD I'm just a little nitpicky, is all.

Mindoe, IMO, looks pretty good. I can tell what sort of pose you where going for. I was trying a similar pose earlier today, and it's hard as h*ll to get to look right, as you can probably tell now. XD

All in all, very nice!

I'm sorry he wasn't quite to your liking, the pictures weren't quite clear enough for me, I suppose. I just read about him in one of your other posts, and now I understand that he's supposed to be more of a feline being. He's also a bit of a 'jerk' from my understanding. More rough and dangerous, right? I'll try my hand at another version. But before I do, can I ask for a little feedback? How is the outfit on this version? Will this work for the new one (add a face mask)? And the second pose with his arms out, will that work if I give him a more sinister look on his face? Really, anything you'd like for it, I'll try.

The outfit was great, honestly. But- (WARNING- MAJOR NITPICKING AHEAD. Apologies ahead of time. XD) Buttons and Pockets, however. *Eye Twitch* I don't know about your personal preference, but it just seems a bit strange for me that a Maren would have buttons and/or pockets. And if they do, they wouldn't have normal buttons. (I saw this one guy's Maren- He used the card suits (Spade, Heart, etc) as buttons. That was clever.) The hood, although TECHNICALLY correct, wasn't his 'Maren' Version, like in my avatar. Once again, apologies for nitpicking. I know it's your first time drawing Frosty, so I'm trying to be nice, but I'm sorta of a compulsive perfectionist when it comes to my characters. I like to think I'm not the only one, though. XD
And the second pose, yes, that would have been much better with the sinister look. ... I'm not too fond of the sparkly things... Unless you add him holding twin long/shard-swords, so it looks like they where just generated. (Don't ask me what they look like. I haven't completely perfected the look of them myself. XD)

Okay, so no pockets or buttons, more of a pointed-down hood in front. Am I getting this right now? I've got a new basic sketch drawn out, but he's just standing there more like the first pic. Hope that's okay. Also, I'm going to edit the second picture of him in the cooler pose to make it look more like him.

*Counts* I think I joined the RP in '02 or '03... So, about five or six years.

... didn't get the look right on the first try, when he tried to make a human version of him in Tektek just a month or so ago. XD So, he's a monster to draw/make, even for people who have known his character for a while. XD
