They only have about a month left, and they have to send the game off to be manufactured which takes a few weeks. The time now will be spent on bug fixing and the like, I reckon this will be as polished as its going to get...

I don't really think it needs any more "polish". It looks great as is. And with NiGHTS it was never about the graphics. It was the world and the gameplay that were inportant.

Heh, I'll say though, that when the game came out I thought a big feature was its graphics. Great gameplay is what stands the test of time, and NiD passes with flying (no pun intended) colors. But the fantastic imagery certainly contributes to the experience. I love how pretty JoD is.

absolutely. Now the dream world can finally be realised in proper 3d. Better image tools mean the developers can get better ideas (or should that be ideya?) across, and it's a good chance for the artists too.
