I just read somewhere that a person got their invisible chao by using a Silver chao and a Shiny Greay chao. Isn't Silver a jewl chao? I can't remember...

It's got homophobic connotations.

The Reala Chao listed on that website doesn't look much like Reala, does it?

Ki(Avenrir) had a Chao which looked like Reala back in SA for the Dreamcast, before dark Chao existed.

The Neutral/Fly/Fly is NiGHTS and Neutral/Fly/Power is Jackle...so if you want a true Reala Chao, why not try to breed a red and black chao and make it Neutral/Fly/Run, as the prongs as curved much more like Reala's are.

At least it looks much more like that to me...am I the only one who thinks so?

I used to have a NiGHTS chao, but a certain cheat code turned him (now called Daniel), into a Chaos Chao. And I can't remember how I made the NiGHTS chao in the first place!

I too am working on a Jackle chao! ^_^ I bought a orange egg and when I hatched it chao came out with a grin just like I wanted!! I'm still working on getting his little horns to point upward! >.<

I want to make a NiGHTS chao but the problem now is that any normal chao egg I get, the chao come's out grinning! @.@

In addition to transforming my beloved NiGHTS chao into a Moon Chaos Chao, to activate the code I needed to sacrifice my most beloved Angel Chao, who's name was Angel (actually, when I sacrificed it, I had re-named it Steve to honor my boyfriend, but after we broke up I was glad I sacrificed it), and had ABSOLUTE TOP STATS IN EVERYTHING. It was my strongest, bestest chao. T_T And now I have a Moon Chaos chao that hates hero characters and has low stats. Hmm. I'm starting to think it wasn't the best of ideas.

There is more to say but i end it like this for now.
oh man now i want to make NiGHTS, Reala and all. Hmmm does the animals help in anyway to make the chaos look like NiGHTS or Reala or i should just give them the power ups and feed the chao all the time

Yeah.. All my favourite chao are on VMUs. (One 4-page VMU and four or five regular VMUs, all of which have both SA and SA2 gardens. Thassa lotta chao!!)


What's a VMU? Is that like the DreamCast's memory card or something?

Also, Sega should make a game wholly devoted to the raising of Chao. You know, just one big Chao Garden...that wouldn't work very well, would it?

Also, what's all this hype about Jackle? I never got to play NiGHTS Into Dreams, so I guess it's understandable that I just don't get it, but come on! What's so special about Jackle if he didn't make it into NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams?

VMU is a Visual Memory Unit. It can act as a mem. card, but some use it for...other purposes....

I'm pretty sure Jackle is a favored boss, and seince it isn't in any game since NiD, and this is the closest thing they're probably going to get...

oh god chao breeding is the only reason I played SA2:B so much XD Kinda wich I had the DC version when you could connect to the intarwebs and use the chao editor and stuff, though- that woulda been neat!

Technically, there IS no Reala chao - the Dark/Fly/Fly chao looks like an eeeebil NiGHTS (I remember I called mine U.V, actually :() Though a red/black one would be kick-ass.

Re: Invisichaos, it is breeding a shiny with a jewel/metal chao, though it's not 100% predictable which opacity you'll get. Skele dogs work well, and I've heard phoenix wings work well to create a jackle-like cape (Well, I remember DB saying something to that extent on the old forums)

It is possible to get a red/black Chao, but you have to breed for it. I ended up with one once by breeding a basic Red Chao with... um... this lime/yellow cross ( don't ask me how the baby ended up red/black, I still haven't figured it out ).

I don't have any good quality pictures of him, unfortunately, as the only way to take a shot is to point a camera at the TV. But that's what I did and here he is:

Yes, his name is, rather predictably, Reala. I think I'll start giving him green Chaos drives to go for those curly horns later.

Like I said above, I'm not 100% sure of the pair that made Whights. I think it was a White Chao and a regular, basic Chao, but again, I'm not sure.

Two ways: either download them to your PC and transfer them to your VMU using a cable for it, or Download it straight to the VMU using the DC web browser.

I meant for the Gamecube remake. If I had a Dreamcast and a VMU, I would've used the chao mod online instead...

I turned on my Cube saves yesterday to have a dabble, seems I may have regular/yellow hybrid I never realised (so much so it had a cardboard box on its head, which I then felt the need to remove) and I bred a silver chao with a shiny red chao, and got (somehow) a translucent GREEN chao....thats like the exact opposite of red. XD

I don't have any immediate way of taking photos at the moment, but other than those, my chao aren't entirely noteworthy.

Sweet! I haven't even gotten a translucent chao. Does anyone know an easier way of getting a crystal chao than this?
