[Meggiemaccat]

The name's Meggiemaccat (though you probably know that from my username), I'm a college student who used to write and draw a lot (less drawing, more writing) and seem to now be making a comeback in both areas thanks to NiGHTS. This comeback's especially wonderful for me because I'm hoping to be a novelist someday, as well as wanting to illustrate my own books.

I've only known of NiGHTS for the past four or five days, and I've gone from looking at 'mangapunksai's 'In a Most Delightful Way' while wondering 'Who is this?' to bouncing off the walls with glee (before being reduced to mentally screaming 'NOOOOOO!' @ something bad that may happen to our favorite flying purple jester *promises self to draw self chasing Wizeman around w/ a flamethrower or bazooka* ). The entire 'chase your dreams' and 'don't give up' message really appeal to me, as well as the at first shrouded history of NiGHTS (I've got the feeling from this game that they're going to go further into depth about it than even the original Japanese plot descriptions did), and I feel very depressed that I'm likely never going to play either of the existing games. *grumblemumbles about the 'no videogames' rule that's been in place forever* Well... with luck my boyfriend might get a Wii and might get a copy of that game someday, but since he's saving up for much more important things I'm not gonna hope too hard on that. ^^'

I've got the same username on deviantART and Fanfiction.net, but I have yet to submit anything to either. ^^' As hyper-happy as I feel about NiGHTS right now, as well as feeling like this'll never go away, I don't really know whether or not this'll stick, and I have a tendency to disappear from forums, especially since I've become a college student, so I apologize beforehand if I suddenly go '&^%$' one day. XPPPP So... erm... I'll just stop here so I don't ramble into infinity like I would've if I'd tried to write this last night... ^^' I still feel like I've done a half-baked job here, but it's done now, and I wanted to get this done before I posted anywhere else. XPPP

And you're in college, I'm sure you'll find SOMEONE with a Wii and NiGHTS (or, if you're really lucky, someone with a Saturn! Diehard gamers DO go to college like myself!). It's an absolute blast to play

And I'm glad I'm not alone in getting hooked that fast, either. ^-^

Hehe... I find it hard to make friends in the first place (at least in real life; I find I'm a bit more social in internet communities once I get comfortable), and I don't want to just walk up to someone and ask them if they have a Wii. ^^' That would be creepy, and I understand that that's not what you're suggesting, I just kinda doubt I'll happen to make a friend who has one, if any at all.

Thank you, Tangocat, I'll keep that in mind. ^-^ *makes mental note to try not to be too afraid of the admins* It's not that I'm afraid per say, I just tend to hold admins in such high regard that I get nervous. ^^'

Er, she isn't here, I know who she is- but I'm glad that you saw some art! A lot of people first learn of NiGHTS through fanarts. So if you've got any questions about anything, I'm all ears. We've got that brand spanking new fanart gallery on the website, if you haven't seen it yet.
