Subspace was a lot of fun. I don't know why some would not have enjoyed it. I guess its all a matter of taste.

Over 200 songs? Funny how out of ALL those, the ones I really wanted and most of the songs to my fav levels I already have. Luck was on my side I guess.

There is a faw at gamefaqs.com that was made primarily for what snake says on his intercom. head over to the smash bros. game, choose faqs, cant miss it. I dont there are anymore interferences though, but the col says some pretty funny stuff.

Subspace Emissary is pure liquid fanservice.
I've always been a Kirby player (they made him GOOD again yaaaay) but recently, I've learnt the AWESOME that is Lucas, and now, I'm pretty darn good with the little psychic brat. I USED to be okay with Ness but he was another character who was nerfed in Melee so I went off him. But like, when I play as lucas, don't ever count on getting a smash ball *is pro at getting them*

as much as i would love to see NiGHTS in this game, i think its better that his not in there
think about it, NiGHTS is non-violent, all his attacks in his game are not really attacks, like his Paraloops
and to put him in a game that his soul purpose is to fight will come out against his ideals and character

And in NiD, NiGHTS's Paraloop was basically a black hole to anything within it, before it was punk-assed in JoD. Given the right movset, NiGHTS would fit right in.

I don't think thats much of an issue, R.O.B. was a piece of nes hardware that (supposedly) played player 2 for NES games and yet he's shooting lazers from his eyes. Lucus is portrayed as a coward but he's still fighting, and Sonic isn't one to use his fists much either (though he does fight) you could also say NiGHTS fights as well (drill diving nightmarens so they go flying, paralooping them into a dimension of death O.O). Besides... I don't think I'm the only one who would like to see NiGHTS deliver a roundhouse kick to Mario/Sonic's face

Not to mention that neither Fox nor Falco ere depicted as Hand to hand fighters in their own games (untill Starfox adventure, which wasn't a Starfox game till it was ported to the cube), but they mix it up with the best here. Also: why would NiGHTS target Sonic?

A few funny things about SSE:

The pokemon trainer needs pictures to remind him of which pokemon he's still looking for.

The only thing the ice climbers do is climb a mountain, they have no further impact on the story.

The Great Fox stood no chance against The Halberd. But then the Halberd is destroyed for no reason in particular, if Kirby had've gotten there a wee bit sooner, the Halberd wouldn't have been destroyed.

Most of all, With the exception of Sonic, all the heroes would be trapped as trophies were it not for Dedede. Sonic was added to the game late in development, but until that happened, it was all Dedede. Well, Sonic MIGHT not have ever been trophiphied, but then he'd be on his own to kill the final boss. Not like he's any stranger to that, though

As for the Halberd...I think it is it's destiny to explode. It crashed and was VERY heavily damaged in Kirby Superstars, it exploded in Kirby's Squeak Squad, and I don't know if the anime counts but it exploded there too! Lets face it. That ship is not meant to live long, even though it kicks major ass. I feel very sorry for poor Meta Knight. I bet they had to pull him from the steering wheel in Brawl when it was going down.

Oh, that's another funny thing about SSE: Meta Knight can't see over the wheel of the Halberd.

As for it's repeated destruction, it reminds me of this particular capital ship from the Exo Squad cartoon, it seems to be perpetually under repair, one episode started with a military parade to celebrate the ship coming out of dry dock, and it's immediately disabled AGAIN by a surprise attack. For a cartoon created only to move merchandise, it was a pretty good cartoon, but now I'm getting off topic.

And the best Final smash for NiGHTS that I can think of would be some kind of Maelstrom sized Paraloop, that stays on screen for several seconds, and drags other fighters into it.

OH wait what about NiGHTS makes a giant paraloop above the stage and it rains those balloon bombs down?while nights gets the ability to fly around stage simaler to Super Sonic cept now you can drill dive enemies and paraloop em? (of coarse NiGHTS would be invulnerable)

I don't see how that would affect them. Last time I saw Celebi, she dropped trophies. Not music. Jirachi would drop stickers. I don't know about Mew though...I have not actually seen it.

Mew stops dropping CDs but I don't see why Mew would disappear altogether. Everyone knows that Mew's true purpose is to just fly there and look pretty.

I read through the whole topic before I started posting in here a few days ago and I saw those pictures too. Meta Knight is also my main, but I also sometimes go with Falco, Wolf, Kirby, Pit, Link, Zelda/Sheik and Bowser. I've also gained a soft spot for Mr. Game & Watch.

Ok I think I got down most of my characters... I use...
Lucario, Fox, Wolf, Snake (although not well yet), Sonic (whom I can use very efficiently despite claims that he's a "bad" character), and Meta Knight (though not as well as I would like)
So far my best is either Lucario or Fox...
