That has happened to me on long road trips. Thank goodness I wasn't the one driving.

Other times, I will actually get the rest I sought after - wake up feeling like I slept for 4 hours, and it'll only have been a half-hour. rather nice, when it works..

It usually goes the opposite direction for me... I'll have been so panicky about laying down to get up at a certain time, that it'll feel like hours and hours have dragged along, when it'll only have been a short 25-40 minutes. Still very, VERY tiring.

That's happened to me as well. I swear my internal clock runs on Tokyo time.

This happened a few nights ago. I was up late at night doing homework feeling rather drowsy and decided to just rest my eyes for a second. And then when I open them after what feels like a minute later, three hours have already passed. I told myself I had fallen asleep, but it felt like I hadn't rested at all. In fact, I felt even more exhausted than before. It was super weird. Any idea what to make of it? Has this, "time jump" thing happened to anyone else? Do you think I really just fell asleep? Discuss!
that happened to me two nights ago, except i slept for 12 hours, which is very unusual of me :S and half the time i keep waking up at two in the morning for some reason. My sleep clock thing is all out of whack!
