Me?
I write a note saying I want to find NiGHTS in my dreams and slip it in my pillowcase, and hopefully it'll work.
I focus on NiGHTS the entire day, which isn't hard to do.

Wouldn't dreamcatchers kill our beloved Maren?

I've personally never met NiGHTS in a dream before but I hope to someday, because of my absolute obsession, that I will find that maren....

I've seen NiGHTS in my dreams before. He even SANG to me once... 0.o It didn't sound that bad though.
Wierd thing is, I've never encountered Reala or Jackle. Wizeman, but not Reala or Jackle.
Theorangenightmare- I once was on the computer ALL day watching NiGHTS videos and chatting with other NiGHTS fans. I dreamt about him that night. Try that if joo gotz the time.

To find NiGHTS in my dreams, I eat weird bedtime foods and play JoD or NiD. Works almost every time, but if I use that tactic, NiGHTS has some kind of grudge against me and tries to kill me. Hm.

I think in order to find NiGHTS, you should be playing a NiGHTS game hard-core right before going to bed. Once you're tired enough, go to bed still thinking nothing but NiGHTS. Hopefully, that will work. I'm hoping to meet NiGHTS myself within the next couple days because I've got a final exam I really need to pass. Hopefully NiGHTS will come and give me the courage and confidence to do it.

See the only prob with that is that I'd actually have to be able to play the game. Got JoD but no Wii so I shouldn't really talk good or bad about it but still I can't play it. I've never even dreamt of NiGHTS. Not even nothing ran through my mind but NiGHTS. I would sing Dreams Dreams and hum it all the time. I'd draw NiGHTS heads in my notebook in class. I would even talk about NiGHTS to people that had no idea what NiGHTS was. Nothing. NiGHTS could care less about me. I know it. It's the Metal Gear setup isn't it NiGHTS? ISN'T IT YOU JEALOUS PURPLE BASTARD!!!

Someone needs to find a fool-proof method of finding NiGHTS that was I can disprove it...

On a very random note due to my fandom whenever I type any word that starts with the word night I tend to cap all the letters but I :/ maybe I need ta spend time away from this site...

Use the last hour before bed for NiGHTS stuff (drawing, gaming, surfing NiD.com, etc.). Make an effort to remember my dreams well. I drink a glass of water or two before bed so I wake up in time to "catch" an early dream, because NiGHTS, for whatever reason, seems to like coming very early in the morning (here in America), before 2 am. The dreams I remember the least are usually the ones I have between when I first go to bed and 2 am... Why, NiGHTS? WHY?! But if I sleep in and have a lucid dream, then he'll sometimes come back then.

I had an AWESOME dream about NiGHTS last night!
NiGHTS was sitting on a windmill in Pure Valley, and I was sitting there next to the windmill eating grass....and then Reala showed up...but then I woke up!!

I have seen NiGHTS once...having an ATV race with Reala....um..yeah.

NiGHTS is a fickle sonofagun, you know. XD He'll show up in your dreams when he wants to and that's it.
I should know, my mind has been in a state of NiGHTS obsession for the past three years without a break, and I've only seen the purple dude a few short times.
Maybe he's jealous because I don't draw him nearly as much as I draw his little brother? ^^; Hmmm. It's a thought!

Regardless, I would suggest simply thinking about the guy here and there, even if he isn't a main focus of your day. Sometimes it's the little bits of important thought that show up in your dreams instead of the major ones. You'd be surprised!

I had a similar dream where I was controlling NiGHTS in a Mario Kart rip-off. I lost (I was controlling NiGHTS like it was any game) because I was trying to snake & failed. Lo and behold, a few months later I find out that in Mario Kart Wii, snaking has been removed.

Sadly the only NiGHTS I have even encountered in my dream was with my friend named NiGHTS on GameTrailers but it was weird because we were in a war zone like setting.

That's...kinda depressing, actually.

Encountering NiGHTS is pretty much hit-or-miss. I tried lucid and bringing NiGHTS in, and it worked once - we explored a strange office-like complex together; it kinda reminded me of Half-Life. Tried it again last night and got a psychotic nun chasing after me instead. Either it wasn't quite lucid or NiGHTS was busy somewhere else...

W-wow... I finally saw him... infact, I had dreams of NiGHTS 3 times in the last 24 hours!! I started taking a new medication and it's been making me really sick and even putting me in pain from panic attacks. I've been lying in bed the whole day, feeling just miserable and wishing it would all end. Nobody could do anything or help me, so all I could do was try to fall asleep, and I just wished I would sleep and have a good dream to take my mind off of it.

And NiGHTS finally came to me! Almost like he was looking over me in my time of need again, but this time I remembered him! And we did things together and had fun and it made me so happy, and I felt free. But then I woke up because I felt sick to my stomach again.

Not long afterwards, I fell asleep and, lo-and-behold, he was there again! It's almost like he was waiting for me to return. I don't remember what happened exactly in this dream, but when we were about to start having fun, Reala appeared. I think I even caught a glimpse of Jackle. Reala looked mad at NiGHTS, and NiGHTS was trying to defend me. Even now I have the distinct feeling Reala wanted my Ideya really badly and was furious at NiGHTS for being with me. I think maybe I was supposed to have nightmares, but he chased them away and helped me to feel stronger over my illness. They got into a fight, but I don't remember much after it began. I remember seeing Reala smile for some reason, but it wasn't a nice or happy one, but I think I woke up before he could take anything from me.

Then lastnight it took me a while to fall asleep again (probably around 3 AM) and NiGHTS was there, I guess in our now "usual meeting spot", the field with the hills and mountains. And he was smiling at me, and the last thing I remember is him reaching out towards me. And today I woke up not feeling sick one bit! I think he's trying to help me...

I've never met NiGHTS in my dreams (though I haven't tried that much).
Just last night I was lucid, so I called NiGHTS hoping he would come, but I met Owl instead

I'm glad for you, Hoban. It does seem that NiGHTS comes to those who need him most at the time.

I've only seen Reala in one of my dreams.
I had fallen asleep in front of my laptop and I saw him face-to-face. He was saying something to me but I couldn't hear it. When I woke up I felt...empty. I didn't want to make any sound or go to my bed. So I just stared at my screen and lazily browsed the internet.
I think I was lucid last night, the only thing I got out of that dream was a cold, stinging sensation in my hands.

I saw NiGHTS in a dream, the night before last actually. I was talking to NiGHTS (he was sitting next to me) about his games. We were saying how creepy they were, and about his latest game. The final boss wasnt Wizeman, it was this...thing...named Leto. Aperently, "Leto" was a child murderer that died, and was turned into "Leto". NiGHTS shivered and said he creeped him out more than Wizeman.

No, because NiGHTS isn't really a nightmare anymore, after Wizeman banished him to Nightopia...I think...

I've only seen NiGHTS in one dream. It was only a glimpse though. I can't remember what I did...

I hung up some of my NiGHTS art near my bed, played JoD before I go to sleep and tried what Saphira did with the note in the pillowcase, I almost saw him!

Meh...I've seen NiGHTS about three or four times...most of the time I see Reala, and whenever I encounter him, something bad happens to me...and I cannot say for it might haunt me for the rest of my life...or Reala might hurt me...or do it to me again...D'8

Thinking back on my past encounters of him, I'm coming to think that bare videogame playing and fancraziness aren't a reliable way to find NiGHTS. A good part of it just has to do with connecting with NiGHTS as a person, I think, not just as an idolized game character, nor even a faraway but real influential person (like a king or something). He doesn't necessarily want pop star status, you know? Maybe he wants people to just try talking to him or something. 'Cause he comes usually when I start thinking of NiGHTS himself--his personality, good traits, quirks, and imperfections and how much I enjoy seeing him--rather than when I'm only thinking of the game, the fan creations, basically the world of the series.

Other times it's when I desperately need him or want to see him. When I want to say something to NiGHTS, I try thinking it to him as I doze off to sleep. Kinda like a little prayer, except not to a god. And oftentimes he seems to hear me. The first time I saw him was after I'd gone to sleep feeling so said and frustrated, crying inside myself, "NiGHTS, why can't I see you?" Another time, I'd just watched a disturbing movie before bed. I was only a little shaken while I was up and about, but once I got in bed I was terrified of having nightmares from it. I was afraid of the dark for the first time in years. I know, pathetic. I was trying my hardest to not think of gruesome stuff and failing miserably. Like a little kid, I mentally screamed for NiGHTS to help. Then I felt a soothing, protective presence by me. When I fell fully asleep, I saw a quick vision of a scene from the movie before NiGHTS flew in front of the image to block it from my view.

After a while, I made a deal with NiGHTS. I said, "Okay, I'll put forth the effort to send myself your way in Nightopia and you can find me. We'll meet each other halfway, whenever you feel like it." And I saw him many times after that. I always tried not to be too clingy. "Only if you want to, NiGHTS," I would say, "because I know you have a lot of other people to visit, too." We had a lot of fun together, and a lot of not-so-pleasant experiences (nightmares, Reala, Wizeman, etc). I never wanted to stay up late because I had just as much excitement dreaming. Then I lost sight of all that, and NiGHTS didn't come for a long time, except for a glimpse here and there. I tried doing all the things that helped connect me with him: drawing more pictures of him, keeping my mind on him as I dozed off, and the like. I saw him in a lucid dream when I called him. We tried dualizing, but something was preventing us from it. I let my possessive control go and felt the process start...right before waking up. Something was still wrong between us. Yesterday, I finally typed a little ramble about NiGHTS and what makes him who he is. He came last night, twice. And he visited my brother while he was at it XD.

So my advice would be to try communicating with NiGHTS and getting to know him like any friend.

That happened to me kinda last NiGHT, I was drawing, but all my drawings turned out bad, and it had been that way for a couple weeks, so I broke down crying saying please help me NiGHTS, after that I tried drawing one more time, and it didn't turn out bad. It was a picture of NiGHTS waving.
Later that NiGHT I was walking into my room and I sat down on my chair. A few moments later I was crouched over on the ground because my legs felt weak, I was dizzy, and my stomach felt terrible. I was laying on the floor for over two hours thinking to myself, "NiGHTS, help me. If I wake up in the morning and I'm okay, I know you helped me." I told myself not to force him to do that. After that I crawled into my bed and fell asleep, and in my dream I caught glimpses of him. When I woke up this morning, I felt fine. I was able to take my karate lesson, and go all-day shopping at the mall carrying over 6 large bags most of the time. I splurged. ^^ I bought so much stuff I needed my cousin to help me with some of the bags. ^^; When I got home I smiled and said thanks to NiGHTS.

CONGRADULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!! NiGHTS is your friend andprotected you from the nightmarens like Reala and Jackle. I am glad that you got to dualize with NiGHTS and fly around. (tHANKS TO GOD) I WANT TO MEET NiGHTS IN MY DREAMS....TONIGHT BECAUE TOMMORROW IS SCHOOL AND I NEED ALITTLE UPLIFT IN SPRIT. I seen Wizeman twice and NiGHTS once waiting fr me to help him but I was unable to. But at least you did.

when i play Luigi's Mansion for a long period of time i almost see him but i did see Reala being chased by a dog cacher for some reason

I may soud like a total nutso, but I've only seen NiGHTS twice (Once I dreamed ALL of Spring Valley and the Puffy fight. It was my first lucid dream!), and both times I gave my little NiGHTS PaPETCH a kiss on the head. It could be a coincindence, but it seems to work.

I also think about the NiGHTSy things I did that day before going to sleep...

In my dreams nowdays, I don't see NiGHTS anymore, I Am NiGHTS, helping other dreamers and exploring and whatnot. I dont play the game, or draw her nowhere near as much as I used to. O_O

For me, If I don't think of NiGHTS or other certain characters much durring the day and not at all before bed, thats when they come.

My trick is to not try to hope that NiGHTS will come to my dreams but is also the fact that I'm scared of meeting NiGHTS, because of the fact that NiGHTS might acctually exist. I was startled when I met Reala after I woke up. Yet I was proud of myself for my behavior towards Reala. Especially about what he said to me.

So in conclusion, I'm acctually afraid to meet any Nightmaren, Nightopians or even Owl. The whole concept of meeting NiGHTS in my dreams is just freaky to me. Just my opinion.

Lastnight we built a hotel covered in waterslides ... it was weird.

NiGHTS has finally appeared to me! I think it was where I was watching a parody video of JoD and trying to download Parental Horn/The Dragon Gave A Loud Scream/Gloom of the NHC/E-LE-KI Sparkle last night before bed.

Any-hoo, it was a three-part dream with each part having at least one appearance, however minor, by at least one NiGHTS character. The first part involved a bookmobile coming to Macbeth's castle(y'know Macbeth, the Shakespeare play, right?). In this Macbeth-based world, Macbeth had three daughters. I was one of them, the one that loved to read. I was looking through the book racks and there were two books with a Reala illustration on their covers(that is, Reala without the JoD Persona mask) and one with a NiGHTS illustration on it. Part two involved Soft Museum, which was odd as I haven't played the original NiGHTS game. Elliot was there instead of Claris and he was looking at transparent images of some sort of hatless NiGHTS, like it was a painting on a piece of glass. The third part was me and NiGHTS at some sort of birthday party. I think it was a pool party because later in the dream, I ended up naked and with no spare underwear. (Why underwear had such importance of all things, I'll never know. Maybe I had some clean outerwear with me at the time?) So I rummage in my purse for my house key and give it to NiGHTS(who I'm sure was covering his eyes so as not to see me in the nude, he's a decent guy/girl/whatev) and I ask him to fly back to my house and please get me a pair of underwear from my drawer, thanks. Yeah, that last part was the weirdest. 8|

I've only seen him once. Just once. I seemed to be in some sort of weird Ideya Refinery (it was weird - I made a fist-sized Blue Ideya from some weird clay/gel stuff; felt more like clay, though...) with him and...Reala. The odd thing about it all, he was simply in the background having fun and flying around. I was generally talking with Reala. And he was being friendly towards me.

Reala's also briefly appeared in another dream once, right before I got attacked by a freaky dragon. But other than that, that's the only time I've seen either.

As for how I find him, I honestly don't know. Both just appear to me at random. Then again, I don't remember my dreams much...
