DiGi and I's costumes for Auchi 08'/NO! 2010!

If DiGi is cosplaying as Jackle he needs to get that voice down otherwise the costume is only half done. When you get the chance, have DiGi record him trying the laugh and talking like Skeletor. I can give him tips. I'm dead serious.

Better yet, Cobra Commander. *Salutes* But I agree. A costume is only as good as the acting done in it, and I'm sure DiGi will get the act down pat. If we all get a snippet of his Jackle impersonation, of course ;D

By the way, CAMERA FOOTAGE! There needs to be looootttss of magic moving pictures of this costume. It shall plz us.

lol, no i'm just a bit taken back. I said if you wanted to bring this project back up again then i'm all for it, providing you can juggle it around all the other priorities you've got going on. I don't think it will be ready for Auchi 2010 simply because this time next year seems a little too close to make this, considering our current 'living conditions' aswell .

And what? Voice acting? Dude, i'm not even a cosplayer, i don't do this on a regular to the T, i'm doing this for the fun of it. I'll bust a few laughs in Jackle's style and be on my way. I don't need to go into voice acting for this XD;;

Technicaly Jackle has a lot LESS costume than NiGHTS does and the only reason my UV one took me so long was that i was being lazy with it and not working on it for months at a time :B The thing that will take me longest will be the hat, simply for the reason it requires a lot of small stitches, but i learnt stuff with my last cosplay that will cut massive corners on this one. Trial and error as they say old chap ;P

Besides, your mum was all for me getting the sewing machine out yesterday XD

I beg to differ. Cosplay is just as much being the part as it is looking the part. At least let us hear the laugh. XD

I personally think doing Jackle's voice over a prolonged period of time would present a health hazard; the guy who played Shaggy in those live action Scooby Doo movies gave himself laryngitis performing the part, so I shudder to think what havoc running around doing Jackle's voice would inflict on anyone's vocal chords, especially someone who doesn't bend their voice in insane directions for a living. >:

EDIT: Wait, sorry, he shouted himself hoarse on purpose so he could get that raspy effect for Shaggy's voice and got laryngitis as a result of that, but I still think VAing Jackle too long has its risks.
