I got my Photon Art on 3 combo's now thus resulting in a lot of death when i'm on the scene XD

Think i'll kick this thread off again in time for MA:G. Plus, it's some weird 'flower' event in PSU and there's cherry blosom tree's all over the place. Very pretty.


Val waiting beside the tree for his beloved. Looks like she's running late (even though it is impossible for Val and TRiPPY to ever meet in game as the characters are on the same gaming acount).


Val's PM - AttyBot. She was originaly a gun-type but in order for me to synth blade type weapons more successfuly i had to change her into a melee PM....aaand plus i wanted it to be a red one in homage to TRiPPYs Gen character, Astrima.
AttyBot actually does more damage than Val when i take her running with me. She's hitting for 400 sometimes and i'm going on at about 250, lol. Because of that she tends to swipe all the kills. XD;; Sadly, her resta is not too great but that's because she's built for attacking and is not a support type. She's so handy. Eeee *hugs AttyBot*


Lastly, a failed group shot of the crew. It originally had DeZ and Kiara's character in it but they were slightly cut off on my screen so i just trimmed this down to just mine and GC's characters, Val and Smyte.
Argh, it has Val wearing his old shield colour (peach..urgh). He's wearing a nice snazzy lightish-green line now (see shots above this one)...although DeZ ripped me off when he sold it to me, lol. XP

Anyways, more screencaps because i was in the mood. PSU is quite a beautiful game, in all seriousness. There are many wonderful landscapes in this thing. And there's so much stuff i have not seen, like Parum. I kept on doing the Scared City runs but i decided to do the other mission instead that leads you to De Ragen...which is this guy -

Yeah, that's what i like to call an action-shot. Enemy is attacking, i'm running head first into it with sword drawn. AttyBot running alongside me. XD
(needless to say but that fireball obviously hit me)



After that area, the sun begins to set and you get this lovely after-day glow over Parum. Quite wonderful. Val and AttyBot enjoying the mood.

I like the way that AttyBot's Hanzo sword is the same colour as my lineshield and my Hanzo sword is of similar colour to AttyBot's clothing. Nice blend.

One of the things I said near the start was that GC looked like he had NiGHTS' head on his char's bum. You judge for yourself. XD

Digi's old outfit looked better IMO, but its his character so it's none of my business. It's crazy how many people went back to PSO clothes after this event started.

I wanted the FOmar outfit since day one because i liked the look of old robes in PSO but never got to use them as i was a Hunter. I was pleased to hear old PSO robes were to return once MA:G started. I got it because the style of the outfit is similar to something that will feature in TRiPPY's Engelbaum comic and i got it not only because i prefer the outfit to some of the other gash that's for sale in PSU but i wanted to homage TRiPPY's character aswell. My 'mandress' (as Ki calls it) is sexy and i likes it. So THAR! :3

Nice shots there, Ki. I got a shot of GC's character too but i guess i don't need to upload it anymore. Huzzah, you saved me a workload, lol! XD
Also, it looks like the 'NiGHTSy' image is holding his arms up as if to say "wtf?" XD ....GC has a WTF-ass! XD

How much is it to play this online and what system do you all play it on?

If you wanna run with me online then a PC/PS2 version of Ambition of Illuminus is roughly about £15-£30 odd. If you wanna run with Zero-shift then you'd need an Xbox360 version of the game as the servers are split so don't get to meet the Xbox players.

Fee for online subscription for a month (plus first two weeks is free) is about £7 or so. Best to check online though because i'm going by UK retail prices.

Lol, as for the screens. I go a bit nuts sometimes with screenshots, lol. I got a feeling there'll be more once Dark Falz becomes available. XD

Yesterday I attempted to go MonsterPhotography-ing around again, but GC and Lavia kept killing things faster than I could press the printscreen key XD

Yup, the Delsabers are back, though they're renamed Delnadians( which seems pointless as we're likely gonna just call them Delsabers anyway XD ) and are rare monsters! They CAN be found outside the Ruins. I think they can spawn in the Mother Brain mission on Parum.

Those are awesome shots, Ki. O.O Delsabers always looked kick-ass. It makes me wish that Sega would have just brought back all the old enemies from the original PSO. I wanted to see the robots from the Mines. *cry* T_T

So, yeah..me and Derek got drunk last night while playing PSU. There was some madness, i don't remember doing the actual run itself but i remember messing around outside in the lobby before it. XD


So, while i was drinking my beer and waiting for Derek to show up (he was getting himself a beer, lol) i was running around the lobby. I spin the camera around and, good lord, i get someones characters underwear on my screen! weh hey! Great start to the evening ahead!
To whoever this character was - congrats. Your knickers are on the net! *bunny bounce away from scene of the crime*


Then DeZ turned up and we stood around the lobby for a while just doing nothing much but sipping cold beer...when GC suddenly pops out of nowhere. By this point the beer is slowly kicking in and we start dancing. Party Party!


"WOOOOH!! FLY KICK ME IN THE STOMACH, OPPRESSION!!!" Great fun. I can't even remember what we were saying to GC by this point. I remember Salem was there with him and we spoke to him for a bit but i can't remember what i said to him either. XD;;
Also, the lady with the underwear is at the back over there.


Anyways, i didn't get any shots of the run itself as i don't even remember doing it fully. I do remember getting KO'ed a bit and losing quite a few scapedolls due to not actually paying attention to my health bar, lol.
Instead, after the drunken madness DeZ went to make a phone-call so i just decided to take some more 'action shots' of Val fighting stuff. I remember doing this, however. It was much later on in the evening. OH WAIT! I remember trying to order a Pizza online for us all. Yeah. ....anyways...sorry. Yeh, this shot. Val doing an Art with his DB Sword which is quite nice.


Another angle. I really like the after-trail that comes out from the blade as you swing it. Beautiful.

Is there a specific mission rank that the Delsabers turn up on? I have yet to see any

I don't think there is a specific rank, no. In the Mother Brain mission I think you just need to get lucky and get the right spawn map ( don't ask me what it is, though; I haven't actually encountered them in there myself, I just know that's where they can spawn outside MA:G ;_; ).

On the MA:G mission they just seem to randomly take the place of the sorcerer enemies in the same way the Rappies do. They seem to do it quite commonly, too. I've had them spawn in both C and S rank, so I'm gonna say they'll appear in them all. XD

They hurt. Lots. The C rank ones were lumping 200 a go off me and I'm level 130. I think I got felled in a shot in S at one point. Might have been a critical hit, though. XD

Yes, keeping his eyes on them would be the smartest thing to do, but when has Martin ever made a smart decision? XD He'd probably travel all the way to Dark Falz just to ask if he wanted to go out for a pint. Then promptly cry like a girl when he's made to eat his own Rappy suit.

XD no honest idea. Seems a random glitch that just happens from time to time. It's happened to GC on two occasions, too. Both times it unequipped Silva's trousers, hahaha XD

I swear between this unequipping clothes glitch, the dodgy crosshairs, and GC or I randomly getting 'locked' in prof. Tomrain's lab( the loading sticks sometimes )... I'm starting to get very, very scared. D:

But anyways, that Rappy Suit thing is weird ._.

so, we have a glitch that removes clothes, the cursor can highlight a persons crotch area and then to top it all off you can get accidently locked in a smelly old mans office..... PSU is perverted!! T_T

Avenrir is a person trapped in a Rappy's body. Or a Rappy's body trapped with a person's mind.

I think i'm beginning to understand why freeze can be good. As long as you're a high enough level to survive it then freeze can sometimes catch you mid-move so you get to see your character in some cool poses. Like this one, for example. I likes.

...anyways...moving on to something quite different now -


This is TRiPPY trying to find her way to Martin Damario's room again. Yes, my dear. You're in the wrong area again. XD;;


So last time TRiPPY was in Martin's room she stole a bottle of wine from his bar so she and Valentine could get drunk. Well this time she seemed to be after something a little more than booze. This time she was clearing out the entire room!! Here she is, about to take Martin's consoles.


Then, while the Chao engages in a conversation with the Booma opposite him, TRiPPY, keeping her eyes on the Chao, takes the bowl of oranges. The sneaky woman. ;_;


Then she decided to forget being stealthy and ate the poor Booma's slice of cake right in front of him. Oh my gosh. T_T


Then she went into Martin's shop and started taking all the guns, too.


And after all that she still managed to take the booze aswell.
Kiara. Me thinks you should lock your room up from now on. It might be a bit safer, eh? XD

It's just that your screencaps look like there different then just straight forward print screen/paste's.

Is there a key that swerves the camera angle around?

Ooooh. I'm playing with a controller on the PC. The controller uses one of the analogue sticks to pan the camera around so when i wanna take an action shot i line my character up before i take it, hit the attack button with one finger and then with other hand i'm moving the camera into a decent position. The very second i feel i could get a great shot i hit the print-screen/prt scr button. Sometimes it's hit or miss. Especialy when you've also got to concerntrate on staying alive too, lol. XD; But you usually need to be very quick.

Okies, i needs to get me a PC controller xD

In reply to something WAY up there, the rappies spawn only when you have Rupika (pretty sure) and the Delsabers when you have Kireek.

I'm pretty sure they'll spawn with or without ( though perhaps having the NPC with you might increase the chances of them spawning ). Most of my runs have been with a party who uses a PM instead of one of the NPCs, and we've had Rappies and Delsabers spawn from time to time. ^^

Mostly the Delsabers, mind you.

And yes, Leonheart, get a control pad; it'll make playing the game that much more comfortable. Keyboard can be a nightmare on the wrists. D:
