And yes, bills before online games. (And take care of your foot, that sounds painful.)
Oh, and before I forget...
Surprise! Again, welcome back!

I'm so happy you are back, Lynne.
I hope the iMAGNi stuff goes well. I hope I get somewhat famous one day.
I will buy the comic books...I can't wait! *Collapses in a pile of happy*

I knew the housing sitch was nasty over there - lady from Wales I work with, she moved her whole family out of there precisely because of that nonsense. Then again, it hasn't been sunshine over here, but that's beside the point, how I ramble on!
TRiPPY, DiGi, and DeZ. MAD PROPS to you lot for surviving abysmal conditions and coming out on top! Not many people can say they've got Narnia in their room! LOL *glomps of relief and joy!*
Will buy the book when funds allow!

The apartment I rent with my friend costs 600$ US a month and is in a good part of town. SPlit between us two the rent and bills are very manageable and we may be splitting 3 way with a slightly bigger place next year. So I was just wondering, is housing market in England so bad off that people end up on the street for whatever reason? and wasnt there some sort of homeless shelter available to at least give you a warm place to stay?: england seems so ass backwards sometimes :/ No offense but it does.

If it's anything like Sweden there probably wasn't room for them, especially during the blizzard.and wasnt there some sort of homeless shelter available to at least give you a warm place to stay?

If I might ask, how is it that you ended up homeless?

Scotland and England are different things dear. Both part of Britain, but different in their own right. It's like saying 'God, crime is terrible in New York. Just goes to show, Alabama is so violent!'.
Anyhoo, housing market is bad, but not as terrible as it is in the US. Homeless shelters are better and more plentiful, but sill in short supply etc. Problems aren't really highlighted in the US as much as they are here, leftover from the old pro-capiltalist propaganda I guess.
Now, glad to hear you two are fine. I know how much being homeless sucks.

*sends happy vibes and good luck your way*
BTW, I know I'm prying a bit, but I'm curious about what exactly prompted you and DiGi being tossed out on your arses. If it's a personal thing I understand. Musta been serious if you guys didn't even have a place to go for that gynormous snowstorm....
Anyways... *sends more happy vibes* hope your luck stays as it is right now- good enough that you aren't freezing to death, and have food on your plate always. Welcome back!

Anyway, being 26 and living with mummy doesnt cut it. I'm glad I'm out of there, it felt like a air tight container full of bad memories. I'd been craving major change for a long time, i tend to thrive on proper crisis, makes you feel alive. My mum phoning me nearly every day is WEIRD though considering i seen her about once a week when i lived there.
Nothing wrong with a bit of bad luck as long as you know you can ride it through.
I'm actually suprised at how well I'm handling all the technical paperwork and stuff, it seemed a lot scarier when i was a kid.

The reason we got thrown out had to do with my stepdad becoming sick and needing an actual bedroom. Ill people become cranky people and my Mum had given us enough warning anyway. Our house was way too small for 5 people. The thing was though- i WANTED to move, she just made it incredibly hard for us when she could have been helpful instead. I'm all for giving lazy people a kick up the arse but for over a year we had been trying nonstop to get our own place but everything we done kept falling through either financialy or support wise. My mum thought that making us actualy homeless would get us a quick house from the council (even though i told her many times that was a dumb idea) But parents will be parents i guess.

Well, paperwork is still pretty hard for me. Maybe I shouldn't say "still," 'cause I'm like, 16! Anyways, paperwork is not my strong point. At least it's not a weakpoint, either! XD lol
So, TRiPPY, do you think you'll be able to return to the fansite anytime soon? I think I'm interested in the comic called "The Misadventures of NiGHTS and Reala," because that probably dates back to before the rivalry between NiGHTS and Reala started. It oughta be so funny!

I found that when I moved out of home, the relationship between me and both my parents improved dramatically. Whether it's out of respect that you could stand on your own two feet, or guilt that she couldn't help you, it doesn't matter, really. You can never visit them enough and you can never call them enoughMy mum phoning me nearly every day is WEIRD though considering i seen her about once a week when i lived there.

I plan to buy the orange book later, only because at the time I'm out of a job so whatever I have is going strictly to bills until I can find something. And an iMAGNi comic?? Best luck with it! ^^

£560 quid for a week!? Honestly? I think that may have been a Sith lord trying to secretly mind persuade you for cash....since like, you can rent a flat in some places for about half of that. Thats madness.
D:
The snowy death doom cloud of evil...if I could have found you guys, I'd have brought you like 20 of the 50p hot chocolates...only problem there being they'd be stone cold by the time they reached you.
Glad to hear things have turned out well and hope your book sells, I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for it.
And, eventually, when you reach stabilitatitiveness(not a word, but should be) you need to totally get back on PSU. Go tear it up on some planet somewhere...
I swear I won't leave you in a room filled with blue and gold robots whilst I go do something to which my mind has forgotten and I know I'll make good on that, because I don't think there ARE any gold robots. XD
Good to see you are back and homed and warm. ^^

And that Council of yours sounds quite familiar to what's going on here in NY... girls around here are getting pregnant left and right to get a place, and sometimes even that doesn't get them a place fast enough. Like you said you have to be homeless and/or live in a shelter for god knows how long, have like eleventy kids, no father around, be on drugs or suffered severe abuse or something.
I tried applying for section 8 (which is WAAAAAY better than housing o_o) which helps pay a good portion of your rent, but you have to have your own address already o_O in other words, I need to HAVE a place of my own already. And with the rest so god-forsakenly high, that won't be happening any time soon. unless I move out to the boonies... which is NOT happening... I went out to PA once.... never again @__@.
But anyways, I'm glad you guys have a place, and that all is well, and I even bought a copy of your book =3 so hopefully that will help you out as well .
P.S. Good luck in school Digi! Get your edumacation on XD LoL
Edit: I saw the preview, the little drawings are so freakishly cute! I just hope I don't get any weird gross dreams to ruin the bubbly cuteness of the pages XD.. if I do I'll just doodle "OMG!" over her head XD

And let me tell you TRiP, I have never seen a website brighten up so much so quickly. This place just isn't the same without you and DiGi. =)
Good luck to DiGi in college, good luck to you in publishing, and good luck to all three of you in your new home! *hug*
