The reason I did this was because, had I signed up here with my real name and details, there is no doubt in my mind that I would have been instantly banned from the site, for I did cause a bit of trouble for this website before. However, that is all pretty much behind me, and the full reason for joining these forums again is because no matter how hard I try to ignore it, NiGHTS (especially the new game) interests me far too much for me to not want to discuss it and glee over new info with my friends from the fandom. Even if they don't know its me. That, and I like you guys.
So, without further ado..
Hi. My name is Sandra Gibson, AKA Kasplatza Red. The Raspberry Ninja of Resolution, if you will. For those who were a part of the old forums, I need no introduction. However, I will post a little about myself, for the sake of those new generation NiD Forum dudes and dudettes who are wanting to know what the hell this crazy woman is going on about.
I'm a 20-year-old gamer chick from a place called Victoria, Australia. At the start of this year, I moved out of the comfort of my family's home to a small apartment with some friends, broke up with my boyfriend, and began studying a Bachelor of Arts in Games and Interactivity at Swinburne University of Technology. In other words, I study Video Games. My ultimate dream is to work in the video games industry, either as a designer or even perhaps, as a producer. Or both. I love all things creative, which is what drew me to the games industry, I guess. Oh, and naturally, my love of video games.
I'm also a musician, having recently gotten back into both the violin and piano, of which I've played for thirteen and eight years respectively. Music is a part of me that I'll never be able to shake, ever. I have always adored classical music, but have also recently been getting into trance, rock, ska, and most amusingly, metal. Especially power and progressive metal. Win.
NiGHTS to me is a game that really transcended limits of design for the day. While not as revolutionary as say, super mario 64, it has a firm place in gaming history that has to be admired. Even though I am a nintendo child by heart, there is something about the dream-inspired levels, atmosphere and music that appeals to me. That, and pian breeding rocks. A-Life for the win!
So, there's me in a nutshell. I've changed a bit since I publicly showed my face on these forums, but I do enjoy passing through here and reading the latest gossip *I don't post much because I don't really have much to say*. I love a good, friendly debate though so if I seem a little argumentative, don't see it as flaming or stirring sh!t. Arguments are a great way to explore all facets, pros and cons of an issue, after all.
Finally, a small word to TRiP and Digi: I know you guys won't be forgiving me any time soon, but for what its worth, I have put all the sh!t that happened behind me and will remain of that opinion. Ban me if you must, but know I have no malicious intentions, my participation on the boards being evidence of that, hopefully. There was fault on both sides, I do admit, and I'm not making any excuses anymore. What you want to do is up to you when you eventually discover this.
Cheers for reading
-Kas

I'm kidding. Well.. I can't have an opinion, really, since I was not involved, but I've always been one to hope for the best in every situation, so I hope things stay good for you and that the situation gets better. You seem to love this forum enough to pull a Metal Gear to get in, so I hope no one treats you differently. This place is about NiGHTS, not drama, so I guess I'll be keeping an eye on people who may poke at you or any situation that isn't their business.
Don't feel awkward! Just keep enjoying it here and be excited for the new game!
I never guessed your name, but I'll gladly steal any and all cookies from those who did!

That.. is the best thing I've heard all day.. or will hear all day as I've only just woken up.
Thanks for the warm welcome though. I had my reasons for what I did but I can't be bothered trying to hide myself anymore and this was one of the more fun ways to 'reveal *gasp!* myself I had no idea that the edited topic appeared in my profile though <.<

The TF movie, despite all of it's horrible horrible Bay caused flaws, is awesome, and deserves to be bought when it comes out on DVD. If you're a Transfan or just a sci-fi action lover, it is much much <3. I want to go see it a THIRD time, myself... but I lack the funds to do so.
And woman.... :3 DRAW INSPIRATION FROM THAT PRIMUS BLESSED MOVIE WHEN YOU DRAW AUDIE, plz. *hugs, hearts, and kisses*

I saw it twice, also. I nearly died with glee both times, I squee'd. And I'd gladly see it again and I will watch it repeatedly once I get that DVD!

Dude, first time, I adored it to pieces, the second time, I don't think there was a moment where I wasn't laughing at the cheesy dialogue.
*runs off to make lunch with her emergency rations*
Why must you live on the other side of the earth from me. (Lunch time there is midnight where I live.)
You make me hungry... (If anyone wants to know I already joined in on the new chat room here and waiting for more to come in...)

Yes, Sam. That really WAS a cheesy line. At least you recognized it. :3
Now when PRIME says it... it's not quite as cheesy.
