Well, earlier today I realized that I have a specific stance while playing JOD.
First of all, I have to sit. And then my arms are crossed the entire time I play. I use the nunchuck in my left hand and the wiimote in my right but i'm holding them on the opposite sides...and my tongue is hanging out.
So, i was curious if anyone else has a specific has a specific "stance" while playing or any other odd habits.

Ehehehe, well whenever I'm doing a 2P battle with my brother, whenever I hit him I say "You stink! Take a bath!"
As for strange things I do in Story mode, well, my eyes narrow so much that people ask me if I'm mad.

I just kinda slump in my chair in the most comfy way possible.
For 2P, though, I lean forward and whatnot. XD

You're not alone. I stand, 1st of all, and I sway back and forth while "swimming" like NiGHTS. Basically I act as if I'M the one Dualized to NiGHTS. Except for my left hand which is flicking the Nunchuck around like a sword or something. Then, when going through cutscenes, I mute the TV and check out these message boards. I miss a lot of information, but nothing is more important than checking up on the series I'm trying to play, lol. Basically, last time my dad watched me play NiGHTS, he laughed so hard at my stance he hurt himself.

Sitting really close to the screen while tilting to the right as much as possible.... I don't realize I'm doing it until the stage is over

I typically sit cross-legged on the edge of my bed with the Wiimote + nunchuck in my lap, classic controller style, leaning to the right more and more as I near the end of the stage. If I'm tired I'll lie down, propped up on a pillow with my legs curled to one side. Usually then I have my arms crossed like an Egyptian mummy's.
My little sister- who for the record has never paralooped, nor flown straight for more than thirty seconds- tends to lean forward a lot, with the Wiimote + nunchuck raised as if she were playing Wii Sports or something. I've tried to see if doing the pointer thing helps with her, but it doesn't. Still, she holds the controllers up like second nature. Which it is, really.

Whenever I play NiGHTS (or any Wii game, for that matter...) I sit sideways in my chair, with my one arm (the one holding the Wiimote) draped over the side of the armrest and my other hand (the one holding the nunchuck) up in the air. My arm starts to fall asleep after a while. >_> The funny thing is, I start doing really bad if I don't sit like this...

I usually lay on my side on my bed, with the Gamecube controller. My right arm usually does fall asleep, but it dosen't mean much when all I use it for is hitting A and occasionally R.
