It's possible that they were only using low-polygon-count models so that the developers responsible for animation and cinematics have something to work with. It is quite easy to substitute a higher-quality model; I doubt that the final product will look like that.

Can you imagine the slap in the face it would be if that was the final product, yet the game was a best seller? :lol: I'm lol'ing so hard.....

Hef, if it was. It would still look better than the origional. Hell, they could use Saturn graphics, and I'd buy it.

Screenshots = Loooooove. Beta graphics are beta, but I dun care. :lol: Judging by NiGHTS' expressions and stuff in the intro shots, I'd say he looks like he has a bit of an attitude. XD That one shot with the red glow on Helen is giving me hope about the Ideya, but not much, since there's been no other signs of them. Hm...

I would indeed love it if they polished that stuff up a bit.. I wonder if they tried making NiGHTS speak with his mouth to the side, maybe it looked too weird? Or perhaps the asymmetry was too much to deal with.


I think NiGHTS speaking with his mouth to the side would look so cool. I mean in 'Shadow the Hedgehog' SEGA had shadow speak like that and it looked cool, and I am use to seeing NiGHTS mouth on the side! ^_^

But even if SEGA doesn't do that with NiGHTS, he will still look Hot, and it will still be the greatest game ever! ^_^

I like various anime shows, mostly shoujo and maho-shoujo. I also like reading books of fantasy-writers (Andre Norton, Phillip Pullman, Gart Nix etc). I like listening to rock or folk-rock music. I also love various pretty shiny things. I myself write and draw various fan things from time to time. And yes, I also love sleeping, dreaming and being lazy.
New screens look quite nice (I'm positive that models are gonna be improved). Dreamscapes look very nice and pleasant, too. More new thing to be excited about...
SupaSushi fish looks like Perfect Chaos, hmmmm... somehow makes me wonder who gonna be his Tikal... sorrey.

I agree that NiGHTS starting to show us some attitude - I think it might be interesting to see his personality. There's only one problem for me: whenever on the screens I see him speaking, I remember that LaraCroft voice he had been given... and remembering that makes me go crying "nooooooooo" and hitting deck with my head... am I the only one who dissapointed with that?

The owl's not Jackle; Its a combination of my concentrated hatred of the idea of Jackle being in this game with no purpose, the sheer joy I get from picking on people about it, and also some feathers, with life breathed into it.[/smashHope]

That owl is pretty freaky though. It would be funny if it was Reala. A lot of people are thinking so. Interesting theory. I'm glad all these screenies came out. And OH GOD that crack owl!! *lol*

You no, I'm starting to believe this Reala/owl thing. The owl doesn't look like he's doing anything to save NiGHTS, plus the nightmaren are only attacking NiGHTS. Hmmmm. Reala had a feathery mask, yes? I'm going to believe this theory.
