Hmm, lets see...
SSG? Sega Splash Golf, or Super Swing Golf?
Wow, a gold course that looks like the first course in Super Swing Golf, and holy crap, all this game play looks familiar, like I don't know, it reminds me so much of a recently released game on the Wii called super Swing Golf. And look! It has Sonic! It figures. Sega couldn't steal other people's material unless they had Sonic in it. Death Star/Egg, Super Saiyan/Sonic, Shadow/Metal Sonic/Reala/hundreds of other things, Silver/Trunks and the future crisses he must prevent which is Iblis/Androids, Sega Splash Golf aka SSG/Super Swing Golf aka SSG.
And if this is for the Wii, I almost guarentee it copies EVERYTHING off Super Swing Golf. They've already started with a very simular course, ability to change clothing, and ability to select caddies (although golfing games should of done that one all along, no I'm not mad at the copying here. Sega's copying may actually be better with NiGHTS, Knuckles, Reala, and Eggman as a caddie (even though only NiGHTS and Sonic are confirmed as caddies, I think the other two would be awesome).
Sega, your loseing it, bad. I thought it was just Sonic Team that lost it, but now you've crossed an unreturnable line. Now I'm actually glad Sega doesn't make consoles anymore...
And that was the corniest trailer I have EVER seen. Especially the breakdanceing and the rotating girl with the mic.
For fairness' sake, the whole "travel to the past to prevent a crisis" thing is a genre more than solely belonging to DBZ, the "powered up" version of characters is another sort of common thing in a lot of games/series (Power Stone, Pocket Monsters, DBZ, Sonic, any game that has a leveling system...), golf is an actual game, so you're bound to run into similarities between games. XD SEGA's not necessarily ripping anyone off, but possibly drawing on popular concepts, like any good company does when they want to sell a game.
And it's for PC, insofar as I can tell.
...and a golf ball smacking a Pian in the face is an amusing image. XD
