I love Owl City, even though I'm not a christian I think his music is great. But there's something about Adam Young's music which has been bugging me alot for over a year. I've noticed how easily his songs can be put next to NiGHTS but this one takes the cake.

can you hear what i'm hearing? I wonder if this is just coincidence or not. I know Owl City mentions dreams alot in his songs but this particular one scares me. I wonder if it would be worthing emailing them and asking whether this is just a coincidence or not.
P.S please let me know if this link works as I'm stuck on my phone now. If there's a problem then the song is 'I'll meet you there'

That link doesn't seem to go where you wanted it to go, so here's an embed:

I love Owl City. Even though the lyrics for many of the songs don't make much sense, they're still beautiful somehow. And the music is so lovely and relaxing. =)

I actually hadn't listened to Owl City in a long time (since before I started playing NiGHTS), but listening to it again, now with NiGHTS in mind... I see what you mean. Wow!

Particularly these parts:

--- --- ---

"And when you close your tired eyes
I'll meet you there"

---

"Deep inside of you there's a ruby glow ( <--- Red Ideya? :P )
And it gets brighter then you and I will ever know"

---

"Oh, I tend to disappear here and there
So concentrate and you'll feel me everywhere"

---

"If you're lost when you close your eyes
I'll meet you there"

--- --- ---

This would be a very fitting song for a NiGHTS music video. =)

Wow! I totally thought I was the only one who heard that song and though NiGHTS! XD And then when it got to that "ruby glow" part there was no going back! I just love it when there are such similarities in songs to my favorite games ^^

I'll admit after hearing 'Fireflies' one to many times I wasn't to into Owl City, but then when I started to like the song again I checked out a few others and I really love how strange but calming they all are, "If My Heart Was A House" and "The Saltwater Room" are a few of my particular favorites!

Yes! More Owl City fans!

Owl city pulled me out of a majorly bad period in my life. While Some of his stuff reminds me of that time, I still love it. You people might also want to listen to Adam Young's other projects: Swimming with Dolphins, Port Blue, and An Airplane Carried me to Bed. All three are excellent Variants of Owl City's style.

I've been listening to Adam Young a lot lately and I've fallen in love with his music from all his projects. I would like to share a favourite of mine

Even though this song is about Adam's relationship with God (even though he leaves it to the listener) I sometimes interpret it as a lover, sometimes as a visitor recalling their relationship with NiGHTS even.
I recently asked for the Sky Sailing Album for my 17th and I love that as well.
As a whole I love Adam Young as a musician, he has a lot of my respect.
Oh and as for Port Blue

Mind=Blown

New album this summer, and it's a dance one!

Also, need to share this song:

Simply excellent timing, and the tempo makes this feel almost like a dance song already. Makes me think the new album is going to be awesome!

I really can't call myself a fan of Owl City, though I do really like this song.

Now that I listen to it, it can sound kind of NiGHTS-y, too. Maybe it's just because it's an Owl City song, though. :P
