Considering the amount of money it actually takes to make DLC in the first place and why the Tennis game probably didn't have DLC due to this reason, i highly doubt it.Makes me wonder if Sega put up (if they do which I have a feeling they will, I'm usually right about these things...) NiGHTS as DLC just to suck extra Money out of our pockets... oh well...

I honestly couldn't see how NiGHTS isn't going to be a DLC if he's Not in the Main Game.

Noes ;_;Watch the NiGHTS DLC be as expensive as the game itself, just to spite us.
SEGA couldn't possibly be THAT INSENSITIVE.

Now I just need to get my poor, unemployed mitts on a console that can actually support DLC...

They must be expecting to gain something out of it if they end up doing it... I doubt Sega's going to make it to lighten their wallets...Considering the amount of money it actually takes to make DLC in the first place and why the Tennis game probably didn't have DLC due to this reason, i highly doubt it.
The raceing game is probably going to do better than the Tennis game by a long shot... the more people playing it the more DLC bought (granted the DLC is any good)
That being said, isn't it cheaper to release DLC that unlocks a character already in the game rather than a DLC that actually adds the character?
Beautiful Katamari had 4 full levels as DLC already on the disk at the cost of 200 Microsoft Points each... So I'd imagine a few characters are possible... especially if the current character roster is as small as it is...Depends on how big the file size is.

In theory, yes, that probably could work, but then you get people who hack the game and get the character for free. In which case, SEGA would lose money, and we all know SEGA doesn't want to lose any of thier moniezThat being said, isn't it cheaper to release DLC that unlocks a character already in the game rather than a DLC that actually adds the character?

SEGA should just give out NiGHTS DLC for free as a sorry gift. Of course they won't because they want to make money.
Sega? Sorry?
BAHAHAHAHHA! If that happened, I think I might have a heart attack. Sucks but true I'm still holding onto hope though!

I second this emotion.Personaly I wouldn't care if i had to pay the same price as the game to play NiGHTS. I'd do so tenfold just to support his franchise.
That *is* how buisiness works. It would be nice, though.SEGA should just give out NiGHTS DLC for free as a sorry gift. Of course they won't because they want to make money.

What about a movie?I like to think that if enough people pay for NiGHTS DLC, Sega might be inspired to give him another game. (*HOPE*PRAY*)

Video game movies are almost universally bad, so I'd be afraid to see what they'd do to NiGHTS. I'd love to see a Fantasia-style animated feature set to orchestrated NiGHTS music, but it might be a bit too "art house" for most people. What about a movie?

Especially if it's done by Hollywood.Video game movies are almost universally bad, so I'd be afraid to see what they'd do to NiGHTS. I'd love to see a Fantasia-style animated feature set to orchestrated NiGHTS music, but it might be a bit too "art house" for most people.

We let Sega know in a respectful way that we're disappointed and then we spread NiGHTS fandom all over the internet.i'm curious, what do we do if NiGHTS DLC never happens? do we campaign more, or do we go batsh!t crazy on SEGA XD

I actually liked DooM (Mainly because of the Stuff on the DVD) and Sonic OVA.Video game movies are almost universally bad, so I'd be afraid to see what they'd do to NiGHTS. Once ASR comes out, I'll have to Download an ISO of it and See if NiGHTS somehow had leftover files on it.

The Sonic OVA was good. That's why I said "almost." For every Sonic OVA there is a Super Mario Brothers and Alone in the Dark. *shudder*I actually liked DooM (Mainly because of the Stuff on the DVD) and Sonic OVA.

It's called competition. It's not Microsoft's fault the Wii's online capabilities are crap. Come to think of it, I don't think there has been one single title on the Wii that had true DLC.
Uhh... Shadi's a Sony fanboy.

No no no... Shadi and I are cool. I'm the Microsoft guy and he's the Sony guy, it's a mutual thing we got going. I was just saying that Shadi hates the Wii (as do I) but Zero-Shift accidentally thought that Shadi was angry at the Wii not being able to do DLC, when he was actually ticked off at the lack of DLC news for the PS3. I was just clearing that up.

I don't hate the 360. I'd still have mine if it didn't decide to start freezing on me. So i handed it off to gamestop before it got a RROD and got mahself a PSTriple. Great SEGA games like Valkyria Chronicles and soon Yakuza 3.

No, you have to hate the 360/Wii as part of the agreement. I own a PS3 and two PSPs, and I'm supposed to hate them.

lol.
Plus even if i still had my 360, I'd get it on PS3. I don't believe in paying 5 dollars a month and not even having dedicated servers. More PS3 games have dedicated servers then 360 games do and they are free to play online.

Besides, if this DLC for ASR goes through then i can't imagine it being a 360 exclusive unless it's a 360 character that's going to be DLC.
