Car NiGHTS

Many of you I'm sure remember this old signature I had floating around:
For the longest time I've always dreamed of making such a car a reality. Sure, the price would be high and the labor put into it grueling, but nothing's impossible. With car vinyl sheets being offered at reasonable prices on eBay and other car part websites, the odds of making such a project a reality have increased. Of course, with the car above there are some obvious problems. The detail's too intense. The copyright and trademark issues involved would have SEGA suing me out of existence. And, above all else, it's BLAND. Two whole pre-rendered images slapped on the side of a car.
So...what if I decked out the entire car in a NiGHTS-inspired paintjob instead?
I've been working on this for the last few nights. I was lucky enough to find a side-angle blueprint of my car (an '05 U.S.-spec Honda Accord sedan, you people in Europe get a rebadged version of our Acura TSXs over here) and from there I started tracing the thing out so I could get a clean outline to draw on. With only a mouse at my disposal it wasn't as easy as I'd hoped...anyway I'm starting to save up so that hopefully one day within the next couple of years I CAN do this, or something like it, to my car. While a Car NiGHTS would be awesome, it's more likely that I'll end up with some vinyls in a matching NiGHTS color scheme more than anything else, but it's fun to dream. We all know that.
Regardless, I do have serious intentions to give my car a unique paintjob in the coming years. So I figured NiGHTS is as good a choice as any!
I'm still iffy on the job I gave the car above. While unique and tasteful, it still feels kinda bland and off. I'm probably going to give it another go sometime soon. Just need to improve my artistic ability first...
Think you can do it better? Take a shot at it.

(It'll be a secret.)
P.S.: I'm liking the fancy design (one on NiGHTS's arms/legs)... it should def. be used.

For some reason I can just think of the scene in Adolescence of Utena where the title character is transformed into a car. Uh, yeah ^^;You.. dualize with it.. yes..

@TRAViS - Also very cool
If I were to do it though, I'd throw this design on a DeLorean. NiGHTS' arms would span the gull-wing doors, so when they're open it'd look like he's flying with outstretched arms. And of course, the car could fly. And not to mention the extra features at 88mph...
HA.

Now THAT is a good idea! Speaking of Ideya, maybe something like that on the front of the car, you know, like on the hood where sometimes theres a little silver thing identifying the company? A little red circle with a white star inside...what could it be?Perhaps a more subtle design? Maybe something that would look "normal" (or maybe just slightly strange) that would secretly send out a secret message to the secret undercover NiGHTS fans, you know, secretly.

It's called a hood ornament, and TRAViS and I already had this conversation: A hood ornament can, for aesthetic and structural reasons, only fit on a rectangular hood, like on my car:
