Soon, the invitation on the floor started to glow, and an invisible nightmaren formed over it. Her eyes were ruby red, and she was wearing a silver persona. Her gown was long and black with red linen. The back of her gown was long with few strips. Her skin was pale, but she had black lipstick and a narrow, oval shaped face.

"I hope you accept my invitation to the Nightmaren Ball to Honor the Emperor of Nightmare. Please wear a persona to the party since it is a masquerade ball. Oh, I must remind you that the elixer I gave might have some side effects. Don't worry! I have the cure right here!" she grinned waving a vial in her hand and putting it in her gown.

"Come to me to get it." she finished by blowing kisses. Little red invisible hearts started floating and popping in the air. Some floated towards Kiera and Torias.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" Ventro yelled behind the door. The kiwis gathered around the door with concern. They couldn't see through the crack, but one of the smallest ones tried to squeeze through a crack in the door.

"I don't know! Come with me! Quickly!" The kiwi urged Toria.

Meanwhile, Ventro returned to his normals size outside the colossium.

"Ha! Sucker! You BSing nightmarens can't stop me. HA!" Ventro mocked only to find himself in a worse situation than before. He looked around and noticed that his escape plan went down the drain. The mutant nightmarens saw him outside the colossium. Furthermore, he was surrounded by nightmarens that weren't even in the colossium. Ventro was tired and worn out. He was breathing heavily while Raid laughed at Ventro's pathetic attempt to escape.

"Oh no! Kiera!" Ventro panicked. He looked at the trees around him and placed his claws on it.

"Growth , help me... I know you're in pain from the fire, but please help my friend." he said softly. Soon, his claws emitted a green glow that caused the tree he touched to move. Its branches connected with the other trees bringing it to life as well. With a point towards the cave, the tree he was standing on and the other trees effected by the growth power forced their branches swiftly into the cave.

"What the... AHHH!!!" Jackle noticed sharp tree branches comming towards him and pinning him to the wall. The branches went in every direction avoiding Kiera. With haste, Ventro rushed into the cave.

"Kiera!!!" Ventro said happily.

"Yeah! A plan to turn all of us into their crazy monsters. It could even be a trap, but we might as well take advantage of their trap." Ventro suggested and looked at Kiera.

"I think you look nice in that persona. If you hear Wizeman speaking through it, just ignore him. I haven't heard him speak though that persona for a long while." Ventro finished when he finally found a hat just like his with three horns and bells attached to the ends.

"Why on earth did I make this one in the first place?" he pondered and made funny faces looking at it.

The charm glowed when it heard Kiera's voice. Quickly, it turned a ostrich sized kiwi. It's red head turned revealing its brown eyes to Kiera.

"Where's master?" she asked. Then, it noticed Droiture looking half dead.

"Is that master's savior... He helped master... I'll help you." the kiwi sqwacked.

Meanwhile, Ventro looked at Kido with concern.

"You... shouldn't have come back.... everything went into... madnesss.... Raid..." Kido breathed heavily.

"What is Raid doing? Tell me Kido." Ventro demanded. Kido couldn't speak. When Ventro tried to touch him, Kido's body puffed up and a bunch of black smoke disappeared in the wind. CRUNCH!! CRUNCH!!! Something was creeping behind Ventro through the rubble. It jumped out quickly out of the shadows and talked Ventro from behind. With haste, It forced its paw on Ventro's head.

Ventro could only mumble while his head was buried in the rubble.

"Mlllaaawwww!" he grumbled.

Raja laughed at Kiera. "You fool! I'm not the one who's on the menu. HA HA HA HA! You'll make a lovely snack for my new improved quest rag doll. Bye!" she remarked and faded into the darkness.

Unexpectedly, Ventro noticed that he was turning into his griffon form. He noticed that two other heads formed from both sides of his neck. He screeched in pain and collapsed on the ground. Quickly, his heart was beating painfully inside his chest, and his vision is in a blurr again.

"Roooaaahhhhh!" she screamed angrily at Kiera's threat nad lunged her head forward to get a bite of her.

"I'LL MAKE SURE THERE'S NOTHING LEFT OF YOU!!!" she yelled.

"KEYRAW!!!" all three of Ventro's heads yelled and he attempted to run towards Raja. Unfortunately, he was too far away to stop her.

"Errr...!" she growled when she felt blood from the deep scratch on her face. "That's it!" She crossed her arms and lifted one leg up. So, she balanced on one foot like a ballerina. She caused herself to spin around like a top. When she was fast enough, she made a small twister and moved towards Kiera with intense speed. During the spin, a key fell on the ground.

"Wait! I didn't get that answer if you wanted to go out with me?" Raid shouted. Ventro got tired of him hanging from his beak that he had his claws ready to tear him to shreds.

"Just give us word." One of the heads said.

"Wait! If you let me go, I'll tell you where the laboratory is?" Raid compromised. Ventro didn't believe him.

Meanwhile, at the bottom of the castle, Raja was looking everywhere in the laboratory. "RAID! Where are you? We need to cage up the nightmarens above before master gets back. RAID!" she yelled.

Ventro summoned all his kiwis and they looked at him with concern.

"Alright! Let's search around and find Sil." Ventro commanded. Unfortunately, all of them had question marks on their heads. Ven made a sigh.

"Okay! I have no idea what she looks like either, but we can try. Let's go!" he said and they scattered everywhere in the cave.

"Kiera... don't leave.... me alone..." Ventro's words died when Kiera went away.

"Damn... I guess I have to start looking around as well." He looked at the front door and realized that they finally closed it. There were nightmarens left and right chatting away and listening to the music echo in the hallway. With a desperate attempt, he tried to find the host Raja. Unexpectedly, she appeared right behind Ventro.

"Hello there! Enjoying the party soo far." she said with a sophisticated tone. Ventro turned around in shock.

"Yeah! quite entertainning. This is a lovely castle for a lovely lady like yourself." he tried to sweet talk her. Raja giggled and noticed Kiera was not around.

"Hey! Where's your friend? You're raggety doll I saw earlier." she mocked. Ventro grew angry when she insulted his friend, but kept it cool.

"Oh! She's prepping up. You know perfume... cologne.... that type of stuff." he replied. He forgot that females don't wear cologne.

"Oh I see! I would hide my face too if I was that terrible." she mocked again with a smug smile.

Unfortunately, Ventro lost his way with the commotion. When he tried to look for everybody, he could not find anybody. With a sigh, he followed the other nightmarens to the safe haven they were going to.

Ventro gave a disappointed sigh and looked at Reala still paralized on the ground.

"Looks like you're not as powerful since NiGHTS kicked your butt long ago. You should of been in the Void of Death as well." he said darkly under his breath. He put his gloves back on and looked around the room.

"As long as you're in that state, I guess I can leave." he smirked and turned his back away from Reala. He walked towards the window and jumped on the window frame. Slowly, he took one look at Reala's pathetic state.

In the back room, Raid was going through his paperwork and started signing some papers.

"Alright! Just sign here and you'll be in the Maren Fight in the hidden colosseum under nightmare." Raid grinned. Ventro snatched the sheet of paper and signed with with his sharp finger nail. The letters glowed when he signed the paper.

"Good! Don't be late. The prize I think will be in your taste. Remember... this competition is for level two nightmarens." Raid grinned. Ventro laughed.

"I guess you don't remember boss. I can make myself look like a level two anyway." Ventro grinned back.

"That's my boy. Remember your representing my company for this fight. Fifty percent of any reward shall be mine." Raid smiled and grabbed the paper from Ventro. With one puff, he zoomed out of the room. Ventro layed on the chair and relaxed.

"Hey Ventro... What happened to that other nightmaren you were traveling with. I saw you with him earlier." Kido asked.

"Came and went. Don't feel like talking about it." Ventro replied in a mellow tone.

Ventro let out a sigh.

"This charm has one special technique that duplicates the skill from the user of the master charm." Ventro stopped and pointed at the blue feather charm.

"It only duplicates my skill to shrink or grow. If you wear this charm, hopefully... I can shrink you too and we can fly out of here safely. Unfortunately, if the charm falls off... I can't really say what will happen... I need someone as a guinea pig. Ventro tried to lighten up the problem.

Ventro let out a sigh.

"Or you get your ass kicked by him." he said under his breath. Ventro followed Droiture through the hacked path. He narrowed his eyes when he noticed a bunch of twigs, bushes, and heading his way.

"Why do I feel like I'm dragged into this? I haven't done anything wrong... or atleast I think. I guess it's good to tag along." he thought in his head. He looked up at the sky and noticed that it was pitch black with very few stars twinkling. Then, he looked Droiture.

"Heh heh! While you ladies work things out. I'm going to the colosseum to find someone who might be some use to us." Jackle grinned and flew into a portal.

Meanwhile, Ventro noticed the kiwi was still bouncing on his head.

"Come on! Let's leave now or something bad will happen." the kiwi urged by jumping angrily on Vento's hat.

"Why? Besides... I bet Droiture forgot all about me anyway." Ventro said breathlessly and grabbed the kiwi off his head. The kiwi wiggled out of his hand and jumped on the window.

"Master... You blamed yourself for what happened don't you?" the kiwi asked sadly. "Then... I'll go find Droiture and figure out how he really feels about you." the kiwi squeaked and jumped out the window. Ventro snapped back to reality when he noticed his Kiwi just jumped. When he ran towards the window, he noticed it turned into a giant kiwi. With a big thud on the ground, it ran into the darkness.

"Do me a favor? Don't get yourself killed." Ventro sqwacked angrily.

The kiwi ran out of the Realm of Nightmares and sniffed for Droiture's faint trail. The trail led to the scorching desert.

"He must be near." the kiwi thought and continued to sniff for the faint trail towards the desert.

"Okay! It's probably best if you fly me to the colosseum. We can get there even faster." she sqwacked. Her red pointy beak pointed towards the direction.

Jackle gave an ill look. He wanted to be alone with Kiera and Toria. Furhtermore, he really liked Kiera and thought this was a great opportunity to date her. He took a deep breath.

"I don't think so Reala. Besides, I heard from other nightmarens that you're the reason he left nightmare anyway. You'll just ruin the plan." Jackle reminded.

Ventro smiled.
"Well, I know I might not do a fighting gig for a while. Claws actually is a tough opponent to beat." Ventro said. But he laughed jokingly and looked around for his Ideyan gloves.

"I wonder what would actually happen if I did use Ideyan drain on you though. I never did a test if you were immune to it since you're one forth human. It doesn't work directly on humans. It only works if something possess Ideyan energy." Ventro thought sneaking one of his hands behind Droiture.

Inside Ventro's room, there was a table filled with food for many to eat. The kiwis were sitting on the table singing happily.

"Yay! Master is saved! Master is saved. You saved Master. Master will be well." they sang and chirped on the table.

"Yes, Reala is the least of your concern. The most important concern is Droiture. He's a menace to both Nightmaren and Nightopia. He must be stopped at all cost. For that to happen, we need some assitance from you. The one who knew more about Droiture than anyone else. He's a complete threat. We were planning for you to use Ideya Drain on Droiture." Jackle proposed.

Ventro eyes were wide open. "Even if I were to accept something like that, I don't think Droiture is a menace to this world. Furthermore, I'm not so sure what will happen if I use that skill on him. I might drain him too much. He's not from this world." Ventro responded.

"Minor details. And if he's killed that's even better. We need to stop him anyway possible." Jackle smiled.

Ventro snickered lightly.

"If you're truely this jumpy and this uncontrolable, there's no way you'll beat Reala. Worse... trap you in his stupid cage traps or he could kill you with a sneak attack. You got to learn to calm down a bit. Then again, I did startle you a bit, so you do have a right." He chuckled lightly with embarrassment.

Still upside down, he smiled to hide his shame of being caught by a tree.

"Hehehe... My name is Ventro, and this area in the forest is kind of my home... Well, atleast that tree." He pointed at a gray vine covered tree far away. "Seeing that you're not working with Reala or Wizeman, I guess you don't have any Ideya for me to take either." he chuckled lightly.
"I was hoping to watch you fight Reala, but I guess my fun is spoiled." he sighed with disappointement and crossed his arms. His tail was still stuck. Suddenly, he looked at Droiture's face. He noticed he looked like one of the visitors he saw when he traveled to the gate of dreams.

"So... Who are you?" he asked with a smile.
