My firends do that too for the excat same reasion. xpAnd me and my friends call him Super Gay! all the time. (Exclamation point included) Just because, in Sega Superstars, he says "Super game!" and it sounds like he's saying super gay.
and a few times Mom called him KiTES.

On another note the halloween music is kinda scary with that random voice in the middle, I wanna figure out what they're saying, though lol.

You must first collect all 60 dream drops, then defeat one the bosses on hard 100 times each (you won't need an A rank, but don't be lazy). A cut scene then will revile a dark portal in the dream gate. Owl will blab about how some past Nightmares are back. (it will be a lot more wordy though) Then you must find the void. It should be easy, it's around the top of the hill you can see as soon as you come in. This void leads directly to the Nightmare dimension. Jump right in! Here you can fight the bosses from the first game!
Chamelan- unlock Jackle
Cerberus- unlocks Gillwing
Donbalon- unlocks Puffy
Girania- unlocks Gulpo
Bomamba- unlocks Clawz
Queen Bella- unlocks hard Reala where you have to launch the orbs at him then paraloop him while he's stunned

I was playing NiD trying for a Snip Mepain. I finally got one with a Snip head. It hatched and I was all "Yes finally!" then a Snip comes down and steps on it, killing it. 
I reset then saved it.

Defiantly less candy coated, or at least less generic kids. I'd like to see the girl into sports this time. I believe gymnastics would b a win, seeing as NiGHTS is into it as well. Maybe she can be afraid of heights too, so NiGHTS can help her 'ascend' if you will.
And then the boy should should be in a band, maybe the guitarist. And he'd have mondo stage fright, but have to get over it for his friends and himself.
And if SEGA steals this idea...

What I did was gather the exclamation mark cats (that's what I call them) into a corner then try to get them in a hole. It actually work very well. Best of luck with an A rank and on hard mode.

Looking at the 0NIGHTS file now, immediately I found the list of names used for the score boards:
SONIC ......:.MILES ......'.KNUCKLES........AMY ........FANG
There's also another list of names that could be used for the score boards:
AKIRA SARAH PAI LAU WOLF JACKEY KAGE JEFRY
Here's a list of possible playable characters:
NIGHTS ... REALA ..:.ELLIOT ..'.CRALIS ....PIAN
I found this at the end, don't know what it is exactly but I know someone might know:

Kay, first set of names Sonic-Amy are defiantly from the high score/link board, all except Fang, who is replaced with "Eggman" in the final. Which confused me as a kid cause I only knew him as Robotink. Oh and I think Amy is Emi. (the Japanese way to spell it)
And lols @ the Vitrua Fighter names.
The next set o names I believe is the default file names. I checked and they match up.
And that's my input... don't believe it helped much but I tried.

Jackal- "Jacky Chan" (refereeing to the actor) and now "Ace" thanks to my chao.
Clawz- "KITTY!!!" usually followed by someone shouting "Mike Wazoski!" or "Kapu Kapu" cause he launches Chu Chu Rockets.
Reala- "Reala-copter" like helicopter then my friend says something about the in-flight meal being "Real-ish" And now I call him "The Phaaaaaaaaaaantom of the Opera" .
Cerberus- "Doggie~!" cause one of my friends yipped that to a small dog and got it to spaz about.
Bomamba- "The Crazy Cat Lady from Down the Street"
Queen Bella- "You eight legged freak!" I didn't even see that movie.
