I love those books. I was actually first exposed to the series from my high school library. It had The Vampire Armand and Vittorio the Vampire, both of which I read. The first book I owned was Blood and Gold, which was given to me as a gift and is one of my top favourites from the series. I own every book in the Vampire Chronicles now, although I haven't read them in a while. The only books in the series I haven't read yet are The Tale of the Body Thief and Memnoch the Devil.

I'm not concerned about what path Anne's writing is going to next, to be honest. She finished the Vampire Chronicles a year or two ago. I may not read what she's writing now, but there are still some of her previous novels I haven't read yet that may prove to be interesting.

We live in Derbyshire, so we took the plane to scotland, but we could have got the train or even a coach ^^

I think it was about £250 for each of us (me and Tsu) although we went the day before the con, and left the day after and I think it was £60 to get into Auchi... erm.. I think LOL although I think they should be posting up the new prices on the Auchi website soon enough ^^

Tasha, I'd stick with Baiken and pass on Lulu for two reasons:

1. Final Fantasy cosplay is overdone.
2. A good Lulu costume would be hard to make and I'm a firm believer that if you can't cosplay really well, don't cosplay at all.

I'm starting to lean more towards doing Yamazaki myself. For starters, I have no idea how much work it would be to get the actual Pyramid Headgear over seas. Besides, Yamazaki is fairly simple and I already have the hair-do.

I think the voice is quite androgynous.... it sounds like a pre-pubity boy, but could also sound like a deeper voiced girl, I quite like it ^^
