I didn't directly meet NiGHTS this time, but I briefly saw this dream-site listing tons of more "out-there" games, and NiGHTS was among them--along with an upcoming "NiGHTS II" (not JoD), and a section on an art book. The rest of my dream (that I can remember) had to do with Kirby and Klonoa.

(Also, I've got a question. I have this rough sketch of Engelbaum!Astrima and Orange Love as Zeti [the Lost World baddies], but I'm not sure what parts of them should be what colour. Obviously their bodies would be red and orange respectively, but I'm not sure about eyes, nails or horns. Any suggestions?)

I dunno if I value one over the other, but I do spend a lot of time talking to people online largely because I'm not very articulate in real life. XD; I do better in a conversation when I have time to decide on what to say.

I've only had the occasional burst of lucidity, past and present. XD; A few years ago during an action-y dream, I realized that I needed some money, and after focusing for a bit, was able to conjure up some.

More recently (like the night before last), I was in a shop with someone who was acting as my bodyguard, and looking over some Pokemon figurines. A fairly common and immensely frustrating aspect of my dreams is that I come across things I like, usually toys or books, and get all excited about playing with or reading/scanning them when I wake up. This time, I had a brief lucid moment and acknowledged that, no, those figurines weren't coming with me.

I think I purposefully didn't try to sustain it, as after a few seconds things started getting all fuzzy, indicating that I was about to wake up.

I think Jackle had a cameo in Pinball Party? Other than that, not sure.

As for the seemingly-random Zeti/Maren team-ups, I've been trying to rationalize them; Zazz (the tall purple guy) may have ended up with Puffy as they both move around a lot (at least, I think Puffy does, and Zazz gives the impression that he doesn't remain stationary for long). Zavok (red leader guy) is on Gillwing as to better stay out of Sonic's reach (otherwise I'm not sure; guess Gillwing looked the most impressive?); Zomom (fat yellow one) gets one of Wizeman's hands as it's the largest dream entity of the lot. Zik (cyan old guy) and Gulpo...not sure. Maybe Zik's domain will be similar to Mystic Forest?

I was gonna say that Zor (blue goth kid) and Jackle's team-up is based on deception (in the Gamescon trailer, Zor can be briefly seen summoning shadowy clones of himself), but the only "deceptive" thing I can think of for Jackle is whether or not he has an invisible body.

There's only one time I can remember encountering NiGHTS, way back in the mid-'00s, and even then I don't know if it was a direct meeting; she was arguing with Reala over something. (Or maybe "he", as back then I was in the "NiGHTS is male" camp) They and a few other people were in this odd pocket dimension with high walls and ledges, and everything was covered in patchwork, with some lights hanging down from parts unknown (I believe the ceiling stretched up into infinity?).

After a certain amount of time had elapsed, a disembodied voice sang "The dream is fading!", signifying that everyone had to finish what they were doing and book it before the pocket dimension collapsed and took them with it. Everyone made it out okay, thankfully.

(That may have been the same dream in which I first saw my fan-Maren, Kaze L'envoul-Majyr [*gag*]. Those memories have more or less been lost to time, however.)

I recently joined the forums; other than that, most of my time has been spent drawing or writing (I, uh, am not employed at this time). Pretty sure I'm getting better at hands.
