I got the game when I was very young, about 6 or 7, I believe. It was the only game that my siblings wanted to play with me.

I liked Donbalon. The fight with him reminded me of the old fight with Puffy, except it was a lot harder because the battle with Puffy never really had any roadblocks.

JOD was way more informative about the plot. However, it's hard to beat the original due to the fact that we based our judgements on JOD by comparing to the original. To sum it all up, I think both were equally strong.

I agree with the comment that he cares more about NiGHTS than he lets on. Like it's been said, if he really wanted to hurt NiGHTS, he could easily do so. Grab his arm and yank it out of its socket or something equally as grotesque and painful. Yet, he himself never lays a hand on NiGHTS. Even when you're battling him, all he does is throw big explody balls at you. He never actually throws a punch.


Good thought. NiGHTS and Reala were both First-level Nightmaren, so Reala could view NiGHTS as somewhat of a brother...

Most of the cutscenes in the game are really choppy. Frankly, this was the only thing I was disappointed with. Anyone else feel the irony that the gameplay is better than the cutscenes?

It's strange though. Why did they give Reala a male sounding voice AND call him a "he"? Wasn't Reala supposed to be androgynous as well?
