Ugh. I messed up so terribly on this e_e; I'm sorry guys.

I had ended up in an unintentional argument with one of the participants which sapped a lot of my energy. But the nail was the fact that half the people who agreed to get involved never submitted their work. Despite how much I stressed not to get involved if someone couldn't/wouldn't/whatever turn in their work in.

I still have all the art that was submitted, but it's on my old comp right now so I'll have to go dig it up later. Out of something like 15 or 16 people I think I had only received, like... 7 pieces or something. It really grated my nerves and was actually the last straw in taking my respite.

Arg, the collections system keeps glitching on me >.o Either art doesn't end up in the gallery or it keeps vanishing out of it. Come on DA, work the bugs out, you're driving me crazy.

Anywho, update that will prolli also be noted to the club later after I dig further into getting things sorted: I'm currently manually going through the archive of each member and adding their work to the club gallery. I WILL ONLY DO THIS ONCE. This is a BIG BIG job and is going to take me weeks to finish @_@ Any artwork done after I've swept through a gallery will have to be submitted through note as usual.

Another thing that will be noted again later is that I've removed one of the club's old rules. After a lot of consideration and discussion with some friends I've decided that, despite my preferences, it's unfair and prejudice not to allow shonen-ai and shojou-ai. It is now acceptable to submit.

I'm going to announce this more formally on the club later, but... I think I'm finally ready to re-assume my responsibilities of maintaining the club now.

I'm very sorry to all who have had to put up with my lengthy vacation. I'm sure a lot of you are pretty angry with me over it @_@; I have a LOT of piled up work to weed through, on top of the implementation of a new system I've decided on, so please bear with me while I get myself re-oriented.

I really need to know who's still interested in being a member and who isn't. I'd appreciate if you guys would let me know and include what yer DA names are.

I should have noted the hiatus. That was my mistake and I admit to it e_e;; At the time I was so frustrated (over a number of things, mind you) I sorta just ran off to try to get as far away from everything as I could for awhile until things settled back down. It's not really an excuse though, so I apologize very much for leaving everyone hanging like that...

As far as shutting the club down... Well, I've been kind of between a rock and a hard place there. I don't want to see it die because I'm really proud of what it's become. I never expected it to become so large (Honestly, I'd never entered the fandom before then... I had no idea the game had so many supporters), but I still don't feel like I'm ready to come back either =/ As I said, I don't really want to hire a staff... It probably sounds egotistical and selfish, but I have my own rhythm in how I do things... And I just know I'd either end up slacking off on my end of responsibilities or looming over others if it's not being done as fast or in the way I want x_x;; I'm horrible like that. There's also been a few times where I've considered offering the keys over to someone like Lynne because I know someone like her would be devoted and treat the club right. My only problem with giving it up is - and there's that selfishness again - I'm still very proud and want to keep it for myself. Perhaps I should let go though... I've been a really crappy owner e_e

I'm sorry if I seem a little overreactive as well.

It wasn't dead. I wasn't busy, and I'm not in school. If you had asked instead of assumed, you would have discovered that the club was on hiatus. I own two very large DA clubs and I run both of them completely by myself - and no, I have no interest in hiring a staff. They take up a -lot- of my time and energy. On top of this I had lost a lot of energy having to deal with certain members. I needed a break from both of my clubs to recharge. A long one. The news of the sequel hasn't been helping either as I'm extremely worried about it.

If you had had the courtesy to ASK me, I would have been okay with it. Hell, I might have handed over the keys to the account itself. Lord knows I'd been considering it anyway, and it's not like it hard to get in contact with me. But instead I find out SECOND HAND that someone had gone behind my back and taken my hard work that I have busted my back to build. That club means a lot to me, and I do not approve or appreciate anyone trying to clone it. Do you realize what a slap on the face that felt like?

Would you like to know the irony? I had been considering coming back lately, but now I'm debating whether or not I want to continue maintenance at all.

I don't like it at all... The collar especially bothers me. The red just doesn't look right O_o They shoulda kept it purple. And the lacy is especially way too over detailed and looks out of place. And while they had a neat idea making the eyes two-tone since they seem to differ a lot in the promo art... Look-wise it's just meh. Maybe if they'd used a different color instead of that bright neon blue in the center... It's really jarring and looks ugly =/

Overall, I'm not very happy.
