I think it's purely philosophical. I think the meaning of his 'death' touches way beyond just the being of dreams itself. There have been so many connections to Jung, Freud, etc, before in the series ... so, even if it seems rather far fetched, I think it connects to humanism, or, optimistic-nihilism. As... everything cycles, you know? That nothingness is everything. As well as an obvious connection to that quote by Wizeman, about nightmarens continuing to exist as a parallel to humans. Because, well, evil is relentless and covers many levels, doesn't it?

I was a major Tori Amos fan in High School! =] Especially Sophomore year. I kind of had a fall out with her when the Beekeeper came out (*so much* disappointment) though... but her new album is totally winning me back over.
When drawing, or writing, NiGHTS stuff.... *points to avatar* I listen to a TON of Kate Bush music. She always sets the stage for what I wanna put as my goal for a piece, never fails to get me going<3
But aside from the obvious XD I actually have a playlist on my ipod for artings! Let's see... I currently have on it...

I... don't know where to begin. XDD
The force of your poses are incredibly dynamic, even when they're set on a level plane. Your style is really something else. I'm not a big fan of sharp edge renderings normally but you're one of the rare ones to really make it work. You have a great sense of line volume and your colouring is just really vivid, eyes-glue-to-screen vivid.

I'm pretty excited Reala's back, but I also am hoping to see more characters as well.
It's really going to be interesting to see how they portray Reala - let alone how they have him interact (if they'll have him talk, etc). I'm just pretty excited in general - and pretty desperate as well, hahaha. I'll take what I can get.

Hey guys!
My name's Kerrin and uhhh, I was a member of the old board. I kind of have the tendency to lurk and not really keep up with posts so you'll have to forgive me if this happens again =O I'm currently a student in Vancouver (though really up here more for work then anything else =P) and shall be heading down to Spokane this fall for a "proper" University education, majoring in Library Science with a minor in Illustration =D I've been a fan of NiGHTS since the moment I got my greedy little hands on the game back when it first came out. It's been a pretty amazing thing to watch the various fandom evolutions over the years, and I must say... I'm pretty content with how things are sitting right now. The new game couldn't have come out at a better time, truly.
Aside from NiGHTS, my interests include art, books, history, culture, gardening, music...etc? XD; I'm pretty quirky and nothing on earth can get me more plum-pleased then a good bloody mary and a good book to go along with it.
And uh... yeah! =D
