We got another email from the Sega guy. Lol, he's really quite down to earth, i must say. I used to have this image in my head that all Sega employee's were up themselves because they wouldn't address us but this guy has managed to crush that thought. I actually said to him in our recent email that whoever made the NiGHTS character model on JoD has done a great job on shaping his ass... in his reply he laughed and joked that "NiGHTS into Jeans, coming late 2009 - just for you" XD He seems like a really great contact to have.

Also, he came to us on his own accord and was not redirected by the Sega PR in Amsterdam so this shows Sega Offices and PR's are doing things on their own...meaning Sega do care. Weh hey! :lol:

Anyways, in his email to us he's said that Iizuka is gonna be in tha' house today and he's scheduled to meet with him. So, it's happening. OH MY DAYS!!! O.O
Also, you thought we were cryptic with our surprises for you? This guy is more cryptic than the Crystal Maze. XD

Did you ever notice on the Crystal Maze that the occupations of the players were either Engineers or Secretary's? were these like the only 2 jobs you could have during the 90's or what?

Sorry back on topic:

NiGHTS into JEANS sounds awesome! 2009 you say? NiGHTS would have to sit in the bath for a looong time to wear "shrink to fit", dame Levi never thinking about the Nightopian/Maren demographic >.<

Holy fish.

Well, my dears, whatever happens with SEGA today, I'm sure it'll all turn out for the best.

To think, we're going to (hopefully) end up with answers from Iizuka himself. Wow!
But, as DiGi has truthfully pointed out, it's not guaranteed. Still, I sure hope to heaven it is! :)


The whole idea of SEGA actually contacting us right out of the blue like that was crazy enough... but now that they actually have, I'm literally speechless. Seriously kids, I'm only rambling on from joy here. ^^; If I wasn't so fishing excited I'd probably still be staring at my monitor right now!

I'm so sorry about the unfortunate London scheduling, you two. That must have been an awful disappointment. At least they've promised to make it up to you, right? Wow. Wonder what they're planning!


Lastly... NiGHTS into Jeans has to be the most terrifyingly hilarious idea I've ever heard.
Very nice comment there, DiGi! XD And what a reply from the company. You're right; we are very lucky to have such an amiable contact in SEGA.

Here's hoping everything turns out fantabulous for the fanbase! The future sure looks bright so far!

No, were not. We said "we were invited to but couldn't attend because there was not enough time to organize". The Sega UK guy will be our middle man and giving our questions to him. We will hear back from the Sega guy tonight to hear how it went on, hopefully.

Anyways, it's about 2pm right now..... i'm guessing it's probably already underway right now.

That would be so crazy if Iizuka came TRiPPY's house and answered all of her questions in her room while sitting on her bed and sipping tea from a little teacup. It would be as if Spiderman came to your house and played video games with you, except not as awesome. =P

Webcam perhaps? Hmm...that doesn't sound very business like to me though.

This Sega guy sounds like he either likes testing people with special messages, or he has someone breathing down his/her neck from time to time. Then again, if that were the case, we may not have gotten that jeans comment.

That's just the majority opinion. It's almost impossible to determine what he's actually saying. An official answer from Sonic Team would be nice..

Being honest, most of the Sonic Team in the past have said they don't know what they're saying. The people who done the voices for the characters have always remained a mystery though it's speculated that it's friends of employee's of the team. And as for what he says, well it sounds like "There is no NiGHTS" just like it sounds like "Give it up, NiGHTS" which is said by Jackle at some point. Truth is, we may never know what the original recording was for the speech in the old game. And we didn't ask that particular question...though i kinda wish we did now. I don't think Iizuka would have known, though. It wasn't his side of work in the old game.

Ok here's an update on what's happening.

1. Everything went to plan.
2. Some of our questions were answered, the others i think have been passed on.
3. Apparently one of my questions provoked a VERY intresting reaction. I have no idea what one this was. So I'm rabid to hear back from Sega haha.
4. I'm being sent full audio and video of the thing for you guys.
5. Waiting to hear back from our new Sega contact ArchangelUK, he also mentioned things we haven't seen yet he's passing over. I'm wondering if it's the other boss CG art i was asking for of Bomamba and the Chameleon.

As he's been out all day I'm highly doubtful about getting a reply at 10pm XD; (i know i have better things to do on a Friday night in London lol) So unless he works weekends then it'll probably all be passed to me on Monday.


I've been trying to take my mind off it all day D: gahhhhh

Oh god, interesting reactions from a simple question. My money's on 'what exactly is Reala's gem and, if it's an ideya, which one is it?', but that's just because I personally found it to be the most intriguing question; they might not care about that very much. ^^;
