Hello,
I've been keeping an eye on your campaign for NiGHTS, and whilst I simply cannot talk about NiGHTS status in the game (as we're not to confirm or deny anything!) what I have to say is what an amazing fanbase you are. We've had all manner of emails at Sumo, we get some great ones, some strange ones and some downright shouty ones! But the ones I've enjoyed the most have been the ones from NiGHTS fans. You're always polite, enthusiastic and most of all, dedicated! Should you all be making noise to make sure NiGHTS appears? As above, I can't answer that for you, that would be a confirmation or denial we're not allowed to do (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) What I would say is I don't feel there is any harm in showing your support for any character. What have you to lose? If that character is already in the game, then you're home free. If they're not, it could make a difference. Thank you for acknowledging this fanbase. You done so the first time we attempted this, even though that was partly due to us almost destroying your inbox, lol. It really means a lot when we hear things like this. It helps to know somebody cares and thank you for the kindest words on our community. As S0L said, and as i've been trying to say, showing support will not hurt whether NiGHTS is in or not. I just know we NEED to be supporting NiGHTS right now or else i would not have started this campaign. Trust me. Thanks again for popping in S0L. Awww thanks for the kind words ^^ That's really uplifting to hear. Regardless if NiGHTS is in or not we as NiGHTS fans should be asking for NiGHTS anyway since we've not seen him yet! SO EVERYONE ASK FOR NiGHTS >:O You've got nothing to lose. Meeting you guys at Summer of Sonic was so nice. I wish more developers would take the time for fans like that. It's that sort of spirit that keeps the fans on their toes and support for the game high. I'm loving how the game is shaping up, that House of the Dead trailer really made me smile and dammnnnn that stage looks epic. The tracks being themed levels is so awesome. I'm really wondering if Shenmue will have a track, people keep ranting about seeing the harbour XD Anyways, thanks for dropping by, it means a huge deal to us (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

Thank you for taking the time to stop by and say a few words. It is all greatly appreciated. As fans, sometimes it feels like we're voicing our opinions at a brick-wall when attempting to say stuff, and being complemented as being "always polite, enthusiastic and most of all, dedicated" means quite a lot coming your area. more people in gaming industry should be like SOL. this is how you treat a fanbase. it's not about just giving fans whatever they want when they whine for it - it's about showing respect and acknowledging their passion regardless of what you do for them. too many developers absolve themselves of responsibility to the fans by pretending the fans' wishes are, for whatever reason, insignificant or unrealistic. so take notes, devs, we don't need to be appeased all the time, just treated with respect =) |

God, I wish that my dearest fanbase had had this much passion and respect for their characters. It makes me regret of not taking notice of my fanbase sooner.
I'm glad you really hardcore (not caual like me) NiGHTS fans are doing something and getting a response. It makes me wish I'd done something sooner, but I'm glad for you. You have someone's respect, and that takes alot to earn. I will support NiGHTS so he doesn't fade into the bulwark, just like the ToS characters... |

Back at ya, I only wish Sega themselves were as open with us as you are. I'm feeling NiGHTS would be better off with Sumo at the helm than Sonic Team. At least you guys would actually listen to us.

: ) Really glad you stopped by. I have much respect for your guys, I hope you do alot more for SEGA, you seem to have the spirit of them captured at thier finiest.
In fact... maybye you stole it from them. That would explain a lot. Oh, BTW S0L, I bought a copy of Superstars Tennis for the 360 today, even though I already own it for the Wii. Purely because of this whole campaign and becuase I love you guys. Edit: Oh, I was curious. Was the name of this topic a play on the NiGHTS song Amazing Water : P ? Just thought it sounded a but strange. |

I understand. That's why I don't have a website of my own. I'm not really reliable when it comes to these things. That's why I got away from the Official SEGA Forums because I felt that I'd just get myself in trouble or ruin it for everyone else. I thank you guys very much for having such a great community. You've only helped the fanbases, and I hope future fans realize this.
