Masochistic
Dream It's a song about the part in my story where U.V NiGHTS returns to Nightmare as his last option really. Like the one place that's safest to a Maren is the one place he really doesn't want to be. So he's strolling along walking through scenery flips, i call them 'flips' because i don't know how else to describe Nightmare. Its like walking through peoples perceptions and scenes. Walking through sorta bubbles of peoples dreams. So he changes as he walks and sees different stuff. Thus the different perspectives from different people thing. So as he does so his voice changes and his appearance. Until he's standing in open ground looking up at the huuuuuumungous black tower of Babel. And that's where the song ends. I really want to animate this @_@ (one day in the future). I can't wait to draw this scene in the comic X3 I wanted him to have an air of uncaring defeat about him rather than to be scared. Stalking along knowing he's powerful but just shrugging everything off around him as it passes him by. It's kinda funny actually XD There's all these people having terrifying nightmares and he's just all 'blehhh whatever' strolling through and pushing people out the way/killing them/stepping over people. Ahahaha poor U.V you emo kid. I wanted this song to start off all sweetness and light with young Orange skipping across a wasteland all distorted and then turn into a horrible kinda messed up rendition of the original. A bit like U.V NiGHTS really Alt titled 'The Masochistic Dream' i wanted it to be freaky, slightly sexual, warped and very how i hear Nightmare in my dreams. IT WAS FUN TO SING such a frikkin weirdass song I'm really proud as it came out exactly how i wanted it to. And the fast paced ending bit makes me glee. I done all the weird sound effects myself and i used voice samples of Sai and messed with them making them sound creepy. So thanks to Sai for the Wizeman and Maren noises XD The funny part is not a lot of the vocals i done are pitch changed, just echoed, my voice can be mad mental. Extra fun
